I’ll definitely check that out. I’ve been a fan for most of the sport’s existence and have interacted with literally thousands of fans whether in person, on comment sections, chat rooms, and forums, and although I definitely wouldn’t distill MMA fans down to angry white dudes (obviously because I’m the exact opposite

You mean you don’t like KOFXV’s latest trailers of showing a fraction of an attack before rapid cutting to another one and leaving us no sense of how the game actually plays? You don’t like trailers that might as well be a series of screenshots?!

Not to mention Blood Sport was an awesome movie

As a hardcore fan of about 20 years who also happens to be a mild-mannered black dude...you’re not entirely wrong here haha.

Almost as big as a PS5!

Actual footage of Dana taking down a streamer

I see a mix of both in terms of fidelity, but I agree that it’s definitely more in the direction of the 16-bit era.

It’s almost as if different people are different, and like different things!

The thing is they DO have a subscription service, they just don’t put PPVs on it haha. Actually, they technically have two subscription platforms, and only on one of them can you get PPVs...if you pay for them. I know things got rough in terms of revenue for WWE when they just included all their PPVs in the WWE

I remember being in a live discussion during the boxing match, and there were folks who paid for it raging about the buffering and asking for streams. Let’s just say I was not one of them haha.

I don’t want to pile on, so

This was exactly my thought on the matter.

Same. I’d climb that mountain.

Couldn’t agree more with all of that! I’ve always found it interesting how RE seems to change it up every 3rd numbered game. RE 1-3 follow the same style of gameplay and perspective, and then RE4 turned it on its head as if to fit in with the times. RE4-6 mostly stuck to the same formula, and when VII was announced I

Totally! The first time I ever took note of it was back when Heavenly Sword was close to release in the good old days of Gametrailers.com haha. I was pumped for it and the site released a bunch of new trailers. After a bit I realized that if you watched all the trailers you basically see the whole game; they even had

Been a Resident Evil fan from the beginning, and while I was initially skeptical of VII, I ended up loving it in the end. Definitely not my favorite RE game, but I really dug the fresh take that almost felt like it was in a different universe save for a couple subtle callbacks and the Umbrella/Chris reveal at the end.

I think for me the DC marked a bit of a sweet spot for me as a gamer; I miss that console haha. It was the first one that I didn’t wait a while to get. Garou I got somewhat soon after its release because I really wanted to play it and I couldn’t find it at any arcade near me. I realize I probably wanted it so much

Got mine damn around the same time. Had no idea it’d be any kind of treasure when I bought it, my love for fighting games probably peaked around the heyday of the DC, so I collected a bunch of them. Kind makes me want to dust off the ol’ DC and give it a go haha.

Sweet, sweet vindication!

I remember this. Itagaki (or Eat-a-gackey, as he’s addressed in the video) truly is the Tommy Wiseau of video games haha
