I've had a bunch of his stuff on constant rotation as my wallpaper for a few years now. It's really good.

This reminds me of the "Native Advertising" that is happening on a lot of news websites. John Oliver does a pretty good job of tearing that apart here:

Yep, I managed to command a warchief into attacking another warchief. So he was there, with all his bodyguards that I also controlled. His opponent showed up, with all his bodyguards, which I also controlled. Awesomeness ensued. I have never played a game that made me cackle maniacally like this before :)

Nah, they're going to lock you down to 900p/30 too. Can't let anyone have the upper hand after all.

The climbing mechanics in Shadow of Mordor are incredibly poor though.

I think you need to replay both of those games. Assassins Creed combat is all about insta-kill counters, whereas Batman (and Shadows of Mordor) are all about building up a combo count so you can pull off finishing moves.

They could really have done a better job with the stolen parkour system though...

Sleeping Dogs also had a really good melee system, though it was also fairly similar to batman's.

I used to agree, but I just can't get back into it after playing EU4. Now, if CK2 were to adopt EU4's warscore/peace treaty system, then that would be awesome.

Carnivale's opening sequence was absolutely brilliant:

Eh, I disagree. I think there were a lot of sympathetic characters. That doesn't mean they were always "good" characters though. Similar to Breaking Bad in that sense. None of the characters are pure good, and none of them are pure evil. They all have their reasons for doing things.

I'm pretty sure cheryl's hair has never looked like that. Pam's hairstyle is better for her.

Cool. Any chance you could post some your modifications somewhere so I could check them out? I've never played Edge of the Empire or Age of Rebellion, but they're also by FFG, right? And they even use the same dice?

I recently played the X-Wing miniatures game for the first time, and I realized that it would be a great system for handling dog fights in a tabletop rpg. Debating adapting it for a dieselpunk campaign...

Initially thought this was Fez. Especially the top part.

The comments sections on gaming websites are much better than much of the internet. Just check the comments section on any of main stream news website. Well, first you'll have to find the ones that didn't disable the comments section due to how vile the people on it were.

Is Golden Sun obscure enough for this list? Cause we need more of those games.

We really need to convince Obsidian or In-Xile to take this on as there next kickstarter RPG. Who owns the rights anyways?

Arcanum sounds like it has it all. Character creation spanning the likes of various races including elves, humans, dwarves, orcs and others. Various methods of gameplay affected by players' choices through negotiation, bribery, theft and combat. All of this set in a fictional world in which the kingdoms are going
