The inventory in ME1 was, too me at least, the main thing that needed to get fixed.  Having to scroll through tons of identical items was very much not fun.  It looks like they may have addressed it, but I’m not sure if it’s really fixed at this point.

Control’s architecture reminds me of a less-crazy version of the Social Sciences building at UC Davis. That place is like a brutalist 3d maze which could be made into a great level for a game.

Curious that they aren’t including Stadia on the free play weekend, given that Stadia is basically made for this sort of thing.  Free demo that you don’t have to download?  Yes please.

4e was in no way ‘theater of the mind’ combat. Over half of the abilities relied explicitly on playing on a battlemap.

The best randomizer is the “Link to the Super Metroid”. They managed to fit both games (A Link to the Past and Super Metroid) into memory, made it so certain doors have you switch between games, and then randomized all item pickups across both games. Thankfully, the best Metroid game is already on the Switch, and it’s called Hollow Knight.

Yeah, I felt like they kept teasing that switch throughout the game.  Every time Peter was on the brink of death, I was hoping they would just let him die and let Miles take over.
