I used to hate Betty, but now I absolutely get that she was a victim of expectations. It saddens me she just remarried right after Don instead of finding herself. But I suppose it was very true to that character and time period. 

But it has been my experience that most early 20-something parents with jobs are pretty much just as immature as the 20-something college kids.

This is just straight up irresponsible journalism given that the orthopedic surgeon “quoted” in the article is in the comments trying to tell people that her comments were oversimplified and taken out of context. It’s a really gross look for a website that often tries to call out others for misreporting facts.
