I own a 2002 roadster, albeit FWD with an AWP 180hp (not the 225hp) 1.8T. It’s at 209,000 and it’s Motoza tuned and runs on Ethanol but bone stock otherwise. It’s probably got roughly 225hp after the tune and the larger injectors, but holy shit is it reliable AF. Yes, if you get the 225hp and the haldex to service,

ugh, worst recs ever in this feature.....come on folks

holy shit this is actually an absurdly good idea - obviously not all cars could be taken away, but make a revolving huge part of the force have to use bikes for a couple months - brilliant!

uuhhhhh is nice price price or crack pipe just gone now? is it something jacked up with kinja or my computer? is anyone else not seeing it?

1st gear - YES, reinforcements have arrived to the front lines!

Mk6 JSW Turbo Diesel with six speed manual transmission. Marvelous kid hauler and BROWN BROWN BROWN.

OMFG, BILL IS THIS YOU!?!?

I will not enable this behavior. I will not enable this behavior. I will not......

Buddy of mine bought the Stinger GT two weeks ago after driving the turbo 4 and a few pieces of German metal. Have to say that the twin turbo V6 is absolutely the one to get.

Hmmmmm, the longer you make it, the more tempted I am to catch up to you from Ohio......

I have a 205,000 mile mk1 Audi TT in similarly (if not better) condition, and I just have no idea how it made it this far that well, either. Garage kept but daily driven for sure, and not even a spec of rust - and this guy is at least outside the rust belt, I’m smack in the middle of it!

hhhmmm haven’t seen enough mk1 TT roadsters listed here - yeah it’s very much a skinny vanilla latte to the Miata’s pumpkin spice, but they are cheap, plentiful, and at least the 180hp 1.8T is easy to work with.

David Tracy, is that you using a burner account>?

Saturday was good, fine crowd even for pouring rain, and the place has beers/bloodies and fresh doughnuts with a nice big inside area and bar.

wait a minute, what were these two in together?

You see on r/Cars that there is a new Cincy cars and coffee this Saturday 8-12 at Little Miami Brewing Company in Milford? I’ll be there, swing by!

Soooo what about buying a 2014 or 15 dieselgate Sportwagen, go right with big turbo, exhaust, and a tune, and still be under $20K?!?!? Why not just do that!?

We sure that’s a bull on there......and it’s not a stang? That thing was hunting for pedestrians.

I never expect to get out my labor + parts for any of my projects......if I did, I’d be hitting the CP too.

They are the single most unreliable series of benz, from diesel to gasser, the engines, emissions, trans, it’s all garbage. Stay FAR away. You’d be way better served with a near bulletproof GLK, ideally a RWD to avoid the potential for TQ converter/trans issues brought about by failure of a particular set of bearings.
