Yes, you go, Mini Ned! (the homage to her dad more obvious than ever with the clothing and hairstyle this episode)

If you’re not a fan of racerbacks, I recommend these for something in beween a heavy-duty sports bra (wouldn’t try running in them) and a bralette. They’re what I wear all the time actually.

[Spoiler alert for the podcast] Wow, Amy Goodman really brought it with that speech about the media and Bernie, etc. I love her, but her style on Democracy Now! is (appropriately) rather dry compared to the passion she showed here. More of that, please, whenever and wherever she can!

Oh yeah, yuck, the Finches’ run. Everyone should just skip that whole mess (which, luckily, was fairly brief).

I’m really enjoying the starting in 2016 “Rebirth” series with Greg Rucka, Liam Sharp, and Nicola Scott (with alternating odd/even issue story arcs). The Azzarello/Chiang run in between was nice for artwork,

So many pot/kettle moments. The ones that stuck in my craw the most were the multiple times they talked about the First Lady being maligned, considering the insane amount of hatred that right-wingers heaped upon Michelle Obama.

“They would rather see him fail than have America succeed.” Wonder where he might have

A good trick for proofreading is to change the font (to say something like Franklin Gothic Medium or another that’s fairly different from original probably TNR) and/or its size. This helps me immeasurably in my job where proofing is of the utmost importance.

There’s no way to compare. BIG difference being pregnant with twins vs. a singleton pregnancy.

Ditto, got totally caught up in watching the hearing.

On top of that, the “to protect the small states” rationale is really historical whitewashing. The original intention was to protect *slave* states and is part of the reason for the Three-Fifths Compromise. The Electoral College needs to go the way of Confederate flag displays, just be gone and done with.

I just picked up on a resemblance to Jon Gosselin for the first time with this thread.

Now playing

The “I’m going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?” video:

If you still have or work in a salon, consider donating the clippings to make hair mats and booms to absorb oil spills.

If you’re on Firefox, there’s Mute Tab add-on:

Just curious, isn’t alliteration really based on pronunciation rather than spelling? (chyme is pronounced “kime”)

I want and am going to need a desk like that fairly soon. Any ideas on where to get similar, that’s semicircular without being claustrophic?
