I'm not sure she could have an IUD. I read she had to be stitched closed to keep baby #19 in.

It's a familiar style. Kind of reminds me of Ren & Stimpy.

Your first paragraph is the most insightful I've read on this. I'm totally going to use that. Big families (6-12 kids) are very common here in little Utah (Arizona).

I have a similar anecdote: I lived in Abu Dhabi for three years and lost 30 pounds in 2 years (210 to 180) without changing my diet very much. I still drank coca-cola, ate meat, McDonald's probaly once a week (I know!) Most food was either locally grown/slaughtered or imported from Australia or Europe. I've been back

I was told I had adrenal fatigue and was "prescribed" thyroid stimulating supplements, including one made out of puréed sheep thyroid. Among several other expensive supplements.

Me too. I'm supposed to see a joke or something resembling a joke in this post? Did I have to click through from the link now removed on Facebook?

I don't even want to reply directly to the OP. "Adrenal fatigue" is one of those umbrella terms naturopaths use to sell snake oil.

OT: "Sick as a parrot"? I've never heard that one before! Poor parrots.

Your grandfather doesn't sound like any of the people I know today. My grandfather is 70 and he also has pretty responsible views on guns, one antique from Ireland that ran in his family. It's not responsible old ranchers (my grandpa raised horses), it's those relatively younger people akin to the militia in Nevada.

I live in Arizona and most of my family is from/living in Texas. The concept of having a fun for hunting only is one I've heard given lip service here, but on top of that most people I know have a loaded handgun in an easily accessible place in case of a home invasion. I believe it is different elsewhere. Maybe all

A lot of comments claim some variation on the "most gun owners are responsible/decent/safe." I understand the need to soften the blow or just be tactful, but I personally have never met a person I would consider responsible or safe with a gun. Granted, I don't know everyone in the world, but my friends, family, and

Larry Wilmore! Great!

I have had two gynocologists and a nurse practitioner (all at different practices and one German-trained).

I'm hoping for a bedroom big enough to fit two double beds. Worked for my great-grandparents!

I have amazing medical insurance, and an ambulance trip in 2012 (I was unconscious for almost an hour and still no one knows why) cost me $600 out of pocket.

Make that no-knead bread dough everyone's second cousin posted on Facebook a while back (3 cups flour, 1 tsp yeast, 1tsp salt, 1.5 cups water) in the morning. However many hours later (at least six), dump it into a greased 9x13" cake pan or a deep cookie sheet. Press it out until it's as flat or not as you want it.

Me! I wear jeans with just about anything, once instead of a sari petticoat. I love this look, as long as she's got a nice pair of shoes going on.

And if she honestly believes that she works because of her anti-vaccine views, what incentive does she have to change?

I've been saying for years I'd have to see someone literally being killed in front of me to call the cops. I may upgrade that to never.
