I find it funny that people find the Focus RS too harsh. They must be comparing it to normal hatchbacks and not sports cars... especially not *older* sports cars. I used to commute 45 miles in a ‘00 S2000, now I do the same in a RS and have already racked up 50k miles on it. It’s *so* much quieter and smoother than

Yet another example of dumbing down in video games being hailed as a victory by people with underdeveloped hand-eye coordination.

Funny how the people whose parents taught them the value of hard work and discipline don’t seem to share this sentiment.

Have none of these people ever watched the scanner screens as they go through airport security? These attempts at concealment are so incredibly half-assed.

Look at all those vultures with their smartphone cameras. Peanut gallery trash of the car world.

I never seriously considered the Chevy SS because it had such terrible engine-related specs compared to what I was expecting... Detuned to 415 HP, but still only 20 mpg highway where the Corvette manages 29 with 455 HP? What the hell, Chevy? That’s definitely not all down to weight, you screwed something up badly

I would be far more excited if it was a $80k sports car with 400 miles of range that could do 0-60 in 2.5-3 seconds and had a top speed around 170.

That was just a person carrying a camera on a boom... You can see their shadow after they reach the top (plus the inconsistency of the camera height above the ground gives it away).

My RS was delivered June 4, 2016, just shy of 29k miles on it... No issues yet (aside from the blue tooth/gps not working for over a year now... I just don’t want to leave it at the dealer long enough for them to fix it =] ), but I’m going to keep driving it hard so hopefully any issues pop up before the warranty is

Yeah, that statement on a car site made me cringe.

Oh yes, because the games wouldn’t have sold nearly as well if they had just modeled generic HMMWV look-a-likes.

A power to weight ratio of 6.33 pounds per horsepower... That would be a weight to power ratio. Power to weight is usually quoted in HP/ton!

If you’re the head boss at your company, and you hate your job and the people you work with... Isn’t that your own damn fault for sucking at your job as a boss?

I can’t find a picture of the one my dad had, but it was a 1946 Willys CJ2A like this one... In similar condition as well!

How the hell has noone suggested a 1977 Trans Am yet!?

The AWD on my Focus RS is so good I made it through the Moab hot tub with no wheel spin. Pulled a Jeep and a Hummer out while I was there, too.

I don’t even pay attention to the prices, I just tend towards the stations that carry 93 octane.

The looks put me in mind of the V60 Polestar a little bit.... which isn’t at all a bad thing. Wonder if they’ll do an AWD version eventually?

This. Anyone with the slightest engineering mindset will instantly recognize that this can’t be enforced unless you restrict all phones in the passenger compartment... Which will never happen.

Just another reason to expand our use of nuclear technology in energy production! ;D
