@ShadowOdin: You prefer Nintendo's way of "updating", heck, I guess it was Sega's way in the past, too, since all the really big changes to perspective/graphic style existed in bonus stages, while the core game feel stayed the same, as you said.

@Foxstar Sixtail: Well stated viewpoint. But I don't view Werehog as a crutch, you see. I do agree, it's weird, but I kinda like being surprised. It's not what I would have expected, or asked for, but they seem to be handling it well.
@giant_chibi: Mass Respect to you! XD
@UCHU: Yeah, but all the problems of the past game look cleaned up. Loading times looked FAST in the (I think it was IGN) demo preview build. There was a messy framerate, but they claim those shall be cleaned up by release, and so far, gameplay trailers show no framerate issues. Shifting rails was HORRIBLE in sonic…
@eastx: That doesn't look bad to me. Mario turns into Butterfly costumes, Tanuki, Hammer Bros, Frogs Suits, Giant Size, Fire Flower Powered, and toted an environmentally friendly water backpack... all changes that promote different gameplay. Why would I complain about Sonic doing it?
@Alyn: They've proven the stages have alternative paths, you can see it by the fact that there are obvious ring paths that lead to alternative areas.
Whine Whine Whine. I'm tired of all this unfounded whining!
DICE: "DragonLady", Rough, Realistic, Athletic, Western
I'm guessing the ESRB's problem is that violence done to a real person's head in an "imitative act" by a youth could easily kill, while hitting in the chest isn't likely to kill, just hurt really bad.
Think of it this way.
@TheLegendof_Erick: He's very playable in this. He's been given a "new" super, in that he now has the Raging Demon / Shun Goku Satsu done by the classic "jab jab -> short fierce" motion. They've also made some changes to his aerial and ground fireball timing, and generally have tried to make him a fair character in…
@Padder: Yes, they went back and redid the artwork. They threw out all the old art, and started over with less shades per color.
@Twoflower: And I'd like to look at it THIS way: This is for those who really want an actual 2D SF. The changes to the controls also pretty much bring a whole new design philosophy to SF. If this is successful, this could have more effect in the future of Capcom fighters than SFIV itself.
@Dragzonox: Yeah, there's a lot of "But what if a company makes a game with a bunch of bloated items to increase it's size?" Discussion that the information brought to light. I think it's just a base barometer to say "this game took a lot of work and is worth more" and "this game has a small amount of resources, and…
@Orionsaint: The way you said it came off as negative to the "Play" crowd, so I just felt I had to even it out a bit ^_^
@Bastard11: Hey, you're a smart Bastard, y'know that? XD I still wanna play Tenchi Fatal Shadows... but anywho, I agree with what you're saying! I wish everyone could understand these things... I wish more of "The Professionals" would think like that, too.
@MrCHUPON: Looking back at Gamefan, I'm actually suprised at the games they rated harshly. Games I figured they'd love got 70s and low 80s.
@PirateMan: Think of games like Stranglehold. Games that have tacked-on multiplayer that use resources that could have instead have been used to bolster the main single player game.
@Orionsaint: No no no. I think it's more like this:
I have yet to play Beast Rider, but I could tell from the Developer interviews on the Live Marketplace that "Secret Level" is VERY into this game. And what I saw made me want to play. I loved the emotion Tyris had on her face as she spoke to enemies, I thought the beat lumbering motions, their walks and attacks, all…
