James May does a pretty good job explaining it in Cars of the People Episode 1:

Guess what? The same dude that designed the V2 rocket for the Nazis was one of the lead designers for the NASA Saturn Rocket. A large portion of “American” technology is Nazi technology... Like you said, what’s their point?

I was actually referring to VW. The Nazi’s made some sketches for a car to fit in their KdF (Strength Through Joy) program. They scammed the people buying them by spending their money elsewhere and never putting the car into production.

Actually he has had the key to the city...

Ouch, calling him a heartless dictator is one thing but with this insult gone too far even for him

And Saddam Hussein is was an honorary citizen of Detroit...

Oregon is the only state to gain statehood with a constitution that forbade black people from living and working there And didn’t ditch it until 1926.

Technically less everything minus Nox

I’m not even a VW owner and think this person can go fuck themselves. Seriously just because VW duped consumers doesn’t mean the consumers are suddenly the bad guys too- and for the love of *insert deity* DON’T MAKE THEM OUT TO BE BAD GUYS they’re victims.

I like the vague “pollution” since the VW certainly makes less CO2 than the Suburban.

I guess I was primed by the “nazis” comment, but at first glance, I though it said “a citizen of Poland.”

The real crime here is that we keep throwing gate at the end of every controversy. Lets find a new suffix to abuse for four decades.

Ford was founded by a Nazi too what’s their point

Good thing they added the frown face after mentioning it was founded by Nazis. This gives me a headache. I’m going to go take a Bayer aspirin.

Whats funny about that is, The Fact that it Still look like it can be a Heritage design of the 70’s 124’s

It takes a special kind of fucked to tell people thier opinions are wrong. The first thing I though of was AP2 V2 s2000 with those wheels.

You’re right

Cost cutting... Thanks GM for teaching people how to slap a badge over a different vehicle and call it another!

Wow, belligerent and wrong (according to the USA Government)....

How about the simplictic value of the Mirage? I know many people trading in good cars just because it needs an expensive service, plus tires, plus brakes, plus 1 or 2 things that are broken but would be cheaper to do than the first year depreciation on a new car. The Mirage would be way cheaper and probably more
