Well, Susan Miller said I was going to have an AMAZING start to the new year and January would be filled with good news.

@Sukie: I loved Ruby! I wish they would do an update show on her.

@slf72: Isn't that the way? This friend I have would probably grind her own wheat if she could. She was shocked to see organic cereal bars in my pantry once and said she was glad I finally got some sense and started shopping organic at Whole Foods. After I stopped laughing, I told her they were Trader Joe's and the

@p.tiptree: Well, the fruit snacks launched her into a whole spiel about commercial food production and it went downhill from there. Oh god, I would never get her started on meat. I still remember the summer she stopped eating pork.

@p.tiptree: I know. She gave me a long speech about what they're made of and how it's killing our children and that it was why my son was running around so much and then she told me to go watch that movie Food, Inc. or something. I did not.

@individa: It's more that she's very upfront and opinionated and doesn't have a problem telling you what she thinks, good or bad. I probably wouldn't see her as much if we didn't both have small kids but they love to play together and when she isn't judging me, she can be nice and caring.

@TheFormerJuneBronson: I know, isn't that awful? In all fairness I probably wouldn't have fit in but at least let me ruin it for myself or better yet, let my son come up and tell me he has a butt nugget in front of them.

@Steve_Holt: I so agree about having a parent friend to vent to. I have a friend who has a son the exact age as mine so we're going through the toddler years together. If I didn't have her to call and vent to I would be insane by now.

@TheFormerJuneBronson: LOL! I'm a downer, too! My friend has a "mommy group" with weekly playdates and when I mentioned my interest in it, she said she didn't think they would "get me." I asked what the hell she was talking about and she said that they had a more "mommy positive" vibe and I was too sarcastic and

I have a mixed bag of friends and for the most part, I'm honest with them and they couldn't give a rip because if they also have kids, they're doing the same shit. I do however, have a friend who is way more judgy and I have totally lied to her. She gave me a verbal smackdown one day after I served my child a packet

I love Sandy B but I hate those bangs. They make her face look like it isn't her's and I can't put my finger on why. They're just SO heavy and unflattering that they detract from her beautiful dress.

@thegoddesscher: His expression there reminds me of my sister's friend who would take a huge bong hit and then laugh as he blew it out.

@Marbe: That is scarier than Zombie Whitney Houston.

@DuckyChan: I just showed the dog so I'm good now.

Now that I watched that, am I going to die?

@GrummoreGrummersum: I love that movie so much and that speech is my favorite part.

@daisyhalfwit: I shudder to think of the accompanying photo.

Really Luvs, because I'm pretty sure I spent 40 minutes cleaning an explosion you did not contain out of a car seat a couple weeks ago.

@saythat3times: Unfortunately, I think that every time I read most comments on the internet. Sometimes I feel like everyone has lost their compassion.
