Nah, fuck that. Perhaps they should try not being shitty people to begin with.

“Who said I’m not?”
You’re missing the point entirely. I’m not saying the game shouldn’t have a plot. I’m saying the content of the plot is not an accident. It is you putting down a labor rebellion.
“This isn’t about data collection; it’s about using that data to manipulate the content shown and suggested to people.”
“Yes, they absolutely do those thing. But “their own ends” begins and ends with “make more money,””
He’s already seeing lots of it. Tesla is having to reduce prices. Twitter’s big advertisers are gone. And there’s not really a whole lot anyone can do to boycott SpaceX.
Remember, this is also the society that saw a classroom of children slaughtered, and decided that nothing was to be done. And on top of that, an handful of people decided that it must be a hoax, and harassed the parents of the victims to the point where they could no longer visit their children’s graves.
At the same time, if that’s true, then why is the main plot of the game stopping a labor rebellion?
Honestly, the only reason you would go to work for Twitter right now is because you’re as shitty of a person as Musk is, and you don’t have any better prospects.
They still collect the same data, sell it, and manipulate the data for their own ends. Anyone who is worried about TikTok but not Facebook or Google is showing their racism.
Agreed. If any of the people actually gave a shit about the “privacy concerns”, they’d be writing bills giving us robust privacy rights, similar to the EU. But no, it’s all just, “China Bad.”
Got any evidence for that? And how would that not apply for Facebook and Google as well?
Can we use this as yet another example of the fact that deregulation does not work?
Not in FFXIII. You set their roles, and the character AI picks the specific moves to use. In FFVIIR, you do get a little more control, as you assign the special moves/magic to buttons, but you don’t, say, constantly pick “Attack”; the game will do all of that, and you just need to wait until your bar fills up to cast…
I don’t know if it helps, but the combat system from VIIR is basically the combat system from XIII. You’re not supposed to be handling every little thing the character does; you’re mainly setting tactics and guidance on what you want to have happen.
No, this is the new grift. Get “cancelled”, and then now you’re booking tons of appearances on right wing grift shows where you can sell your grift.
Her approach to work is for the stupid who want to make someone else rich at their expense.
“just his unsupported opinion for which many social scientists have provided evidence”
I can understand not bad mouthing the employer that cut you off on social media, but you don’t have to simp for them.
Considering that the vast, vast, vast majority of times, the “grind” will end up just like it did for her, the idea that merit based rewards still exist is very, very much unproven.
