It’s not *that* bad. I just hammered out the full 100k service as well as a few larger gremlins and my maintenance cost including tires will be about $3000/yr as a daily driver. The insurance is only $80/m (which is less than our Forester XT), but the gas is brutal. So hard to get anything better than 16mpg as a dd.

Realistically it makes sense. They are both touring cars and somebody buying either is not likely to be a serious enthusiast. If you want a 2-door performance BMW you will be looking at an M2 or M4. Yep. I was making a right turn on the upper end of fast (but still reasonable for street) and just jumped on it too fast, breaking the back end away. Basically had to hoon the corner to avoid a snap back..
