Alright, fine. I’ll play the damn game!

The thing is, something shines because it reflects light, which is purely visual. You can, of course, polish something to make it shine, but polishing also makes something smoother to the touch, which is not so visual.

He did talk about the polished “shine”, so I think griping about the visual aesthetics isn’t entirely unreasonable.

Horizon was about polishing what we know to a razor-sharp shine

The game has 3 routes. First playthrough is Route A, second is Route B (almost the same as A, but following 9S instead), third is Route C (continues where A and B ended).

You guys realize you’re arguing in circles, right? :/

I think you weren’t completely wrong with your assumption. Giving away random bits of information to a mob of overzealous morons does make me an idiot too, I suppose.

I’m sorry you took the time to post this, but I have absolutely no interest in your family.

“Literally no other logical reason to bring it up”? Did it ever occur to you that sometimes people do things that are less than logical? No?

    Really? Who is it?

Not the best analogy, I admit, but not exactly a bad one, otherwise the term “corporate slave” wouldn’t exist. Also, it makes sense that a company wouldn’t flog their employees. Harassment is harder to prove than scars and wounds.

Slavery is better than modern jobs. You are defending slavery.

I am neither defending slavery nor am I defending the game or its content. Using “literally” does not lend any credence to your claims.

    1. Your Second Amendment doesn’t prevent anything. It’s called “Amendment” for a reason. It used to correct (amend) something in the past, which indicates that your laws are far from perfect, hence they require amendments.

Since most people here seem to assume I’m condoning pedophilia simply by reporting what I learned in history class, I’m going to assume your uncle is a pedophile.

Yes, others have said exactly the same thing, which still doesn’t change history, as far as I know. But thank you for repeating it once more. I’m sure I’ll eventually get it after the next 10 or so people.

They were fed every day and cared for if they got sick. Since they paid for their slaves, it was in their best interest to keep their slaves healthy and strong so they could do their job.

You’re confusing the acceptance of it with the morality of it.

I wasn’t condoning it, but just for future reference: why is it hard to tell? Maybe next time I can make it more obvious, because it’s really frustrating having to justify myself for merely explaining history. It’s almost as if I was responsible for the actions of our ancestors.

Pedophilia has been a part of historical culture, yes.
