Nothing in that proverb about “you show the Desert Eagle to the ladies”?

Having spent lots of time with SEALS and MARSOC, I can tell you it doesn’t matter what the ‘official’ handgun of the SEAL organization is, they will be carrying whatever the hell they want. I have seen guys carrying Dirty Harry pistols, Sigs, H&Ks, 1911s, etc. It doesn’t matter what’s ‘official’ to them, it matters

I told you guys Glock waz the best. In the background,

Amen on ergonomics. Two decades of carrying the M9 and I still hate it with a passion. Yet I can go years between firing an M1911 and it feels like I just picked it up yesterday.

I know some guys. They are a little emotional right now. But I will ask as well.

No, that’s a French APC.

What problems, specifically?

Good find on this one Tyler. Here are some of the best I’ve come across.

1) The pod is a 25mm gunpod, the F-35B and C didn’t have space for a gun internally. Don’t give me some Vietnam shit, the gun works this time. (And the pilots are going to be trained in dogfighting...not to mention its very hard to go wrong in ACM when you know where EVERYTHING is)

Same thing as if they lose, debrief, go over every second of telemetry, critique everything each pilot did and learn as much as possible from it. The goal of these exercises is to find weaknesses and fix them, if you’re not finding those weaknesses and potentially “losing” as a result, you're not trying hard enough.

I knew this would be about Swan! I opened that gate and push the VATS button and it targeted the swan in the lake green, and I thought, “that’s odd.” Then he emerged and caused some poo to emerge from me!

Sorry, but I have no sympathy for these folks. I do have empathy, but no sympathy. According to the Las Vegas Sun, the USAF has been trying to move these people out of there since the 1950’s with offers to buy their land and get the out of there. And they just want to remain there because of sentimental values.

Short answer: Because ours HAS to work.

As part of the Ec-130H CC crew, we had the honor to work with these guys several times during my time there in the 90’s. over-watched providing EA coverage to their strikes many times. Them and the Triple Nickle (555th) with the 16Cs. Great bunch of professionals to work with.

My dad was installing a Chinese microwave transmitter in Hong Kong. The Mainland Chinese guys who vended it to him literally just gave him the transmitter. No box, no docs, no manual.

Definitely not from China though. When it comes to Taiwan.... China doesn’t give a flying F-CK.

We used to play this chicken game with the Russians back in the ‘80’s. We were careful to turn off radars and to aim weapons down to the deck to preclude any excuse for a “misunderstanding” and I thought both sides, at least the men on the ships if not the men back at headquarters, pretty-well understood the game.
