I’ve been out of the writing stuff for a while now, and don’t write for B-TEN any more. But you can send me an email at supergeek96*at*gmail#dot#com if you want. I’ll see if I can help you out anyway.

I'm playing Virtue's Last Reward now actually (though it's on the back burner thanks to Pokémon). And I love it. It's so exciting (and the puzzles are great too), I just can't wait to see how it turns out. That is, after Pokémon.

Cave Story was the first indie platformer I played, and I'll never forget it. A great game.

Oh dear, my backlog goes back much too far. I'm at the original Castlevania now (until Bayonetta 2 happens). But there's a lot more, Persona, Vagrant Story and Broken Sword are at the top of the list though.

Oh god, fate stay night is so great. Absolutely rutheless, but great. So many feels were thrown around during those two episodes alone. (By the way, I haven't seen the previous version of FSN or played the VN, so it was all surprises for me.)

We still get Spelunky though. There's nothing ps+ can do to phase my mood this month.

Oh man, there was a convention near me last Sunday. It was awesome. Been a week now but I'm still astounded by the awesomeness (it was only my 2nd con). This is holland though, so it wasn't as big and impressive as the American cons. It's so weird to spend a whole day freely talking to strangers about anime and manga. Read more

How about a Twilight Princes for New 3ds? And if they're doing Wii Ports, why not throw Super Mario Galaxy on it too. Read more

It doesn't even come close. The best thing about the novel is feeling like you are the people King's describing, and understanding why they do what they do. Despite how incredibly 'out there' the story is. Read more

I don't think I've ever played a game that's frightened me a lot. Except for the Ravenholm level in Half Life 2, that was scary as hell (though there were more parts of that game that frightened me, I'm a wuss, I know). But the story that frightened me the most (through whatever medium), was the book It. Just Read more

It did seem like this show did try to be serious at points though (and succeeded in that a few times). Read more

Oh, I'm terribly sorry, I had no idea. (This isn't even the first time I've done this...).

Yes, Urusei Yatsura has lots of references and puns in it. Even the name is a play on the words hoshi (meaning star) and urusei (meaning annoying). I can't find exactly where, but I think there are explanations to all the jokes made in Urusei Yatsura somewhere on http://www.furinkan.com/uy/.

I love Ghost in the Shell, I had no idea it was directed by the same person as Urusei Yatsura. I check out The Skycrawlers as well though.

But both of those are absolutely nothing compared to what we're used to from recent shows. You could find traces of comedy in the most serious anime there is, but that doesn't make it slapstick. Read more
