Yep pretty much. After we played BL, i even showed my wife Mad Max so she’d be familiar with how much Mad Max inspired Borderlands.

1) it’s harder for me because i only have one eye. Having no depth perception or parallax make it definitely a chore
2) i’m not trying to be a regular handyman or anything. I’m just a guy who wants to do some improvements to my home here and there.

I’ve gotten to the point where everytime i see an article with a new use for graphene, i only think, “Great, but when are they going to figure out how to actually make it at a practical cost?”

The main reason i didn’t buy this is because it was so slow to come to the US market. If they had released it right away, i might have bough it. But with the way the tech evolves, i’m not going to pay $1000 for last year’s hardware. Panasonic should have at minimum done a CPU and OS refresh.

I’ve had it on my laptop for a while and it’s been mostly smooth. Way better than Windoze 8. I will probably want to do a full backup before i risk putting my main machine on though.

i’m a bit disappointed with the camera. The GX7 had potential for my needs because of the small size. By making the GX8 larger, i don’t see why i would get this over the Fuji unless i wanted 4k video. If i wanted 4K video.. i’d just get the GH4.
