My message to the content creators is simple:

I think it's too soon to tell. The main issue is so far, Samsung's lawyers have not inspired much confidence.

Same could be said for Apple...

thing is.. many times it's not who's right that will win, but who has the best lawyers...

Notice that mine is a direct reply to someone else talking about the rectangular shape? Someone brought that up and i asked for a clarification. That's hardly cherry picking.. it's a directed response.

To me the two big failures of the time wasn't as much the UI, but the limited hardware. A more usable touch screen in addition to the stylus, better battery life, lighter builds, and lower cost would have made them better sellers. If you ere able to take something like the Asus Taichi and transport it back a few

Isn't one of the big patens they are suing based on the rectangular shape?

The 2002 product was not that bad. i had one and it worked very well for me.

Well Apple's every year approach would be more service packs than full version releases. Though.. Win7 was in a lot of ways a SP for Vista...

I'm not trying to put an argument on which is better. I'm an android user myself. I just recognize that the Apple product has certain advantages and strong points. What i am saying is that i think more people will chose based on the eco system than the CPU. Whether one will get better or worse i'm not commenting

I think the smoothness of iOS is good enough for most people. Unless you are racing, does ti really matter if the car can go 200mph or 205 mpg? People will buy more for the ecosystem they want than the actual speed of the CPU i think.

To me, cheating basically revolves around breaking a promise.. anything. To me, if i promised my girl that i would not play poker anymore and i played poker, it's just as bad as if i promised my girl i would not have sex with anyone else, but i did. I think too many people are obsessed with the idea of the sex and

Yeah.. i was thinking it was the same idea as shaped charges used for demolitions. Send most of the force of the explosion against a known weak point. Granted, that would really be a case by case basis, but i would think at least the theory is sound... as long as you got to it when it was far enough away.

This is not the Yoga?

I agree. iOS requires much less resources to run than Android. The only place that this new chip will still win would be in case where people wanted crazy video rendering. That might be limited.

From what i understand the iPAD isn't really post-PC because you still need to initialize it on a PC with iTunes. Is that still the case? And the Android market/Play Store isn't really a closed eco system either. I'm not even sure a closed mobile app store is even that patent able an idea. Either way, Apple really

I don't think Google is that bad on privacy, based on what i've seen. As for giving data to the government.. if this is a legal requirement, what would you have them do?

Well only the ones that succeed will turn into the man... and eventually they will fade back down again.

I was just having a discussion with my Fiancee about that trend. back in the early 80's they were the company you sided with when you wanted to stick to to the man (IBM/MS). Now they pretty much are the man. It's quite fascinating.

Read an article years ago that when a certain video card maker leaked something, Steve had them rip out the video cards and replace them with a competing brand... the night before those computers were unveiled at a show.
