for me, a quick and easy way to search contacts is very nice... especially the voice dialing feature will be disabled by this...

Until the F22 is actually working [period], i can't say it's better than 4 F-15s

America! the best Democracy money can buy!

But seriously.. the F-15 is still a very viable plane.. as far as i know none have ever been shot down by the enemy and it's been updated with modern electronics correct?

Yes! my argument for a while has been... "why are we fielding this when it's obviously not ready for prime time. As for how we should be spending the money... how much does an F-15 cost? $50M ish? i'd rather have 4x F-15s than 1x F-22... just saying

1- a confirm prompt would be SO nice

Prior art hasn't stopped Apple from making legal complaints and filing patents.

I think the MBA is a bad example of Apple being cheaper and higher quality. We can go on for days about the quality, but take a look:

I see the Q more as some kind of weird hacker's toy than a competitor to the Apple TV.

Does it really matter that only 10% have ICS?

The thing about Google is that they really are an ideas company. They just have really smart people coming out with all kinds of stuff and they see what catches on. Yes.. not all of their stuff will catch on, but that's not the point. they are still happy if the stuff that does helps make our lives easier.

If form always followed function the whole retro design fad for cars would not nearly be as popular.

I think it might have been here that was reported in article where an old apple engineer was watching an argument between jobs and a junior engineer. The gist of it was that Jobs wanted some of the INTERNAL components redesigned cause he didn't like the way they looked.

I have a 5DMkIII does that count as a proper camera? Honestly, my GSII takes great shots for the hardware. Yes, some conditions are not optimal, but every camera you use has limitations. The main things are: 1- knowing what your camera can or can't do and work with them 2- not caring that every random snapshot you

the Motorola Ming... it was awesome (and Merciless!)

I am usually pretty careful about what pictures of me are on FB, but i can think of one pretty bad shot of me taken after a fashion show. It was a shto fo me with two of the models and none of us looked good... Hopefully it was taken down by the photographer .p

Do they? based on what i know of patent laws: the patent has to be original and non-obvious. Slide to unlock is not an original idea as it was done before the iPhone and the rectangular slate with a glass face idea is neither original nor non-obvious

Heh. I'm not a lawyer either.. i am a photographer so i had to learn some of the basics of IP law.

Someone will hack it just to prove it's flawed and get bragging rights. I think ICS even says face unlock is not secure...

I was talking about this with a few other IT/Gadget oriented friends.. that basic agreement was, "IT might not have everything, but at that price, it's still worth it."
