4:3 monitors are still available, if not common. 5:4 as well. They’re mostly terrible cheap ones though. I think it’s because they’re mostly used in shit like POS systems these days.

I think they missed an easy joke in having the evil Strange here not have a goatee. That would have made it clear that it’s not the What If...? Strange as well.
Discounting dive bars most bars have a cocktail menu.
It doesn’t neccisarily indicate anything about the skill level of the staff. A lot of times it’s just provided by a liquor wholesaler.
IIRC they just signed a deal with Marvel to do some All Ages, and Star Wars stuff.
Nobody can really sun down the comics publishing in the face of that, as there’s a commitment in place. I don’t think anyone would cause it’d just be dumb.
As goes the chart. It’s only about $.05 shift for a couple of months between those two peaks. That might be better viewed as a single seasonal dip, IIRC cows tend to be slaughtered in late summer into fall and Winter. So prices are seasonally lowest then.
Generally the hold up on Mignola stuff is Mignola. He’s spent the last 10 years or so primarily painting, and operating in the Fine Art scene. Apparently it’s just what he’s into after a bit of burn out. And then working on trying to license things out for adaptation again. Hence the new Hellboy, which didn’t exactly…
Mike Mignolia has a lot being published by DH - there’s eight years of Abe Sapien comics (for example), but I’m thinking the Hellboy stuff is already bought.
It’s also worth pointing out that Dark Horse has a significant thumb in Creator Owned comics, and had at one point positioned itself as a sort of broker or management situation for licensing those out for adaptation. IIRC they at one point had a table top gaming imprint going.
It also sounds like Dark Horse was…
Shit Darkhorse has slipped to #4. I saw the headline and I was wondering how they got bought, particularly by some small sounding company I’ve heard of.
Turns out that used to be Nordic, who apparently swallowed up what was left of THQ a whiles back.
Not the biggest game company. But they seem to have been on a buying…
Yeah again. Paul Ryan stood on the floor of congress. More than once. And openly advocated gutting Social Security, argued for the removal of Medicare. At conservative events he celebrated that they would finally see the end of such things.
The GOP in general often stumps for the shutdown or privatization of the Post…
I just paid 4.99/lb for a 3lb package of 80/20. Prior to the pandemic the same was regularly available at the same grocery chain for $1.99/lb. Regular price not sale.
That was also about as cheep as I’ve seen that same package of ground beef, at the same grocery chain. Owing to said move. They were running…
You were aware that food prices are up but expected increases of a few cents?
political suicide to directly attack them.
I think the bigger problem is are they going to be able to find one. West Virginia isn’t exactly a thriving farm team for promising progressive voices.
By contrast you can look at PA’s Lieutenant Governor. John Fetterman. He’s a legitimate progressive, and does really really well in PA coal and Fracking country.…
I don’t actually think it would negatively impact them either. But that’s doesn’t really mean much for for whether they think or fear it would. Or don’t want to deal with the noise as it goes down.
Taken the other way it’s delightful that performers of this sort are involved in this particular circus.
The press junket, crap interview machine is going to turn any intense interest in practically any subject into that exact kind of “isn’t this so weird” gawking. Not just traditionally “geeky” subjects. If a…
If you haven’t been watching the news it isn’t just the UK hitting shortages on at home tests. Shortages are popping up all over in the US. I think every drug store in my area was out by Sunday. Online a lot of places seem to be sold out, or swapping shit to “only in stores”.
I said this elsewhere but I don’t think they want the bad PR of suing police and Military units. They’re not going to be accomplishing the goal without doing that. Even if this isn’t the primary thing they’re trying to tamp down.
As to the right wing extremists. They probably don’t want the back lash. We’re watching…

Well the ins and outs of this subreddit are interesting. I think its probably worth reporting on the Duggars and Josh in their own right. Part of how that whole thing blew up is how many people are only loosely familiar.
They recall hearing about the past accusations, and otherwise remember the cheery reality TV bull…
