It’s pretty good Gin. It was created somewhat early in the craft cocktail boom specifically for mixing. The intent was to be softer and cleaner than available London dry gins. And higher quality, without being crazy expensive. So that it would mesh well in cocktails it’s name sake, that were a big deal at the time.

They basically started as merger of Guinness with some Scotch brands. As far as global conglomerates go they aren’t the shut it down and replace it with Heineken sort. And in general the distillery business is currently all about the opposite of shutting facilities down and making brands cheaper in one location.

I have. And there is a big difference in flavor. That’s the problem. The sediment and mother are bitter, musty, and sometimes metalic. If you let the sediment settle out the liquid tastes largely the same as any other vinegar. That sediment isn’t just mother, but fermentation waste products, pigments and other build

The health fad is usually for the bougie “craft” brands. Which aren’t so much bougie craft brands, as they are hippy alt med brands.

Bragg is the progenitor here. And their branding is 100% about the magical, literally magical, properties of vinegar mother and raw unfiltered things. The supplement trend for vinegar is

Homeopathy is mostly BS.

Certain kinds of data are kept uncompressed. Like audio files and textures. To save the CPU resources needed to decompress them on the fly while playing. On PC it’s done to accommodate older processors. But the PS4 and Xbox One had notably week processors even at launch.

They have a 60k. Barrel facility. Yet produce 30-45k a year. And have stated that this is because they will sell more beer to the “hyper local” market if they limit production. They have the capacity to keep up with distribution, they choose not to. More over they have the money to expand production again. But instead

They’re zero distribution and that’s because demand is so insanely high at the brewery that they can’t distribute.”

Yeah freezing shit causes it to dump water when thawed. Whatever yer squeezin yer tofu for freezing first works much better.

Aquafaba (chickpea cooking water) should work, what egg brings to the table in a breading is liquid with protein content. Or go with a corn starch slurry/batter, which stays crispier longer even when sauced. And is more traditional for breading tofu. Potato starch can be used instead if corn starch is an issue.

In the industry NEIPA is increasingly taken to me “North East IPA” rather than “New England IPA”. After the first run of New England Breweries a lot of the key places in the popularization of the style were located in New York, PA and Canada so while the style originated in New England it was only limited to that

Well they started about 3 years ago with distribution in CT and parts of NY and NJ, they may have ramped up on expanding their distribution area in response to Covid. Many breweries are. But they've had out of state distribution for quite a while.

Alchemist may not have control of it. It’s common (though illegal) for retail beer distributors to send trucks across state lines to buy hard to get beers at retail so they can stock something no one else has. That's why so many hot, limited availability breweries won't retail kegs and place strict limits on case

It’s likely a reference to mailing beer across state lines, which is mostly illegal but commonly requested of the places. Alchemist signed with distributors a few years back, their wholesaler in their home market covers 3 or 4 states and they’re officially represented in PA these days. Lord Hobo also has distribution

If it was about greed they wouldn’t stick with AAs . As it stands you can get 2 changes of rechargable batteries for less than 20 bucks, compatible batteries at every gas station, and all the non Xbox batteries you can shake a stick at.

I actually ended up really liking the AA’s in my Xbox controller, even though I was turned off by the idea when I purchased it. I grabbed a $10 set of eneloops, two live in the controller two live in the charger. When the controller loses juice I switch them and plug in the charger.

I believe they announced that would be the naming convention, but haven’t confirmed anything about an actual machine.

It’s not just boxes. The original sourcing for this is two people on Twitter who (claim) to have been able to purchase the actual boxed controllers from places like Offer Up. Both posted very similar photos of the full package and controller itself. And one of them posted fairly detailed video of the controller

I know many PC players who also have a console. For convenient couch play, as their main set top box, for kids. Or because also one household member prefers one to the other, and another prefers a different one.

The original Suicide Squad featured no super villains. It was more of an A-Team sort of thing.
