Wow. That's FANTASTIC. Maybe this will make me get off my but and finally actually PLAY Eternal Punishment, it's been sitting on my shelf for YEARS.

Obviously I wasn't there for release but from what I've heard and read in patch notes it was a TON worse than it was now. There have been some major changes in a lot of areas. I mean...why would the UI be handled server side, I don't even...ugh. But I'm really digging it, so who knows.

So Friday night I was bit by the "play a universally-panned MMO with horrible reviews" bug, so I picked up Final Fantasy XIV. ....And....I'm actually enjoying the hell out of it. Maybe I'm broken or something. Sure, the interface was designed by someone who has never seen a keyboard before, and there needs to be

It won't be "spoiled for you", Prototype is a sort of prequel-game. I'm pretty sure it stars this new Barret dude because it's about him helping Roll finish the rocket to bring Mega Man back from Elysium (at the end of MML2).

I have literally NEVER been more excited about a game than Mega Man Legends 3. Call me a dork, but I loved the first two games to death and have been waiting a decade for the third. This has inspired me to go and finish my current MML playthrough today (the games look pretty slick on a PS3 with smoothing turned on).

I cannot *wait* for Mega Man Legends 3. I've been replaying the first two in anticipation, they look great with the PS3's smoothing!

So I had never heard of Shadow Wars until two days ago, but I picked it up and I am *hooked*. What a fantastic surprise, I thought I was going to be using my 3DS to just play DS games for another couple of months.

I *love* the Pokemon card game. It's designed around getting six prize cards, right? So you set up six shots next to each player - each time you draw a prize card, your opponent takes a shot. The rules are made for gradeschoolers so it's not too complicated to function as a drinking game.

@Arquis001: Okay, would it parse better with you if I said "endorsed by the same company that endorsed it's own fake staged opposition?" Whether or not they're different ad agencies, at the end of the day EA is the one signing their paychecks, and EA's advertising campaigns have had a tendency of leaning towards the

@SleepingOtaku: Yes the parents are upset about another violent game on the market. That is clearly what is happenin' here. Sure. Right.

@Slagathorian: Save the trees and kill the children.: Slag, Link's Awakening was made by Nintendo, and the other Zelda handhelds were made by Capcom - which is a much, much bigger, much more well-known company than Bend is. As in "I probably play a Capcom game every day at some point between my phone, console, and

@Ben Nadler: You sure take your game news blog comments seriously, mister!!

Yeah this'll go well. Nothing bad happens when Naughty Dog lets someone else hold the reins to their franchise. Remember how well Crash Bandicoot did after Naughty Dog sold the rights?

Man, and here I had forgotten all about the suicide bombing part of No Russian!

God damnit, Sony, at least throw a few PSOne Classics our way.

@The Sentient Meat: Yeah - or in programming, you might not remember what all those stupid pointers are supposed to be or what that giant, cryptic recursive loop does when you finally come back.

@Rzah: Yes, that's totally how Mac users act. Always clamoring for buttons, them. That's why their flagship mouse and phone are so loaded up with buttons, yes-sir-ree-Bob.

Bahaha, a written extortion threat? How was he even able to tell?! I mean, he's clearly only *barely* literate....

Apps? Son, those demons are called Personas.
