This is how Gawker keeps it's commenting system so minty-fresh, huh? Cool. So when your comment is moved, will you be informed like you will with a warning?

I would totally wear that Mettool headband everywhere.

@somini: They were, in the incident I'm thinking of. But the image was still there for probably an hour or so before anyone with Official Moderating Powerz noticed it - the damage was done (and it was to my poor eyeballs).

@Stompy1: Not very often at all, Gawker Media's got some of the best commenting communities out there. But when it does, and there's no official mods/writers checking the articles at that moment, it seems silly to not be able to utilize that excellent community to stamp out the problem quickly.

This is a great idea, but I still think the community as a whole needs some way to quickly report posts that are overly offensive - say, horrific shock images of a popular cartoon character that no amount of bleach and retinal scrubbing will ever manage to erase from my brain. Please?

@Akomander: They've stopped innovating gameplay, so they need to innovate with Engrish titles now.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: It's been the #1 bestselling game in the app store for several weeks, I don't know if it's still on top but it deserves the popularity. It's a really polished little game that you can play in 5 minute spurts or hour-long binges if you want, and the developers add new levels all

@MyNameIsNobody: Really? I don't really hang around there, I just knew it covered fashion and those people can be brutal. I stand corrected.

@HideyoshiJP: Yeah, except then you have the same problem - it's a major pain in the ass to type it into your *own* PSP...or DS, or iPhone, or whatever.

They should've topped it off with Major Nelson dressing up like Admiral Nelson or something, they totally could've worked with that connection.

This article: HEY LOOK PHOTO FROM AN EVENT!

@Mr_Biggles: Holy shit, that's an amazing one. Followed.

@iiqulo: You're totally right, Unplugged is by Backbone "in conjunction with" (i.e. outsourced by) Harmonix. My bad.

Yes, applying a modern ethical system to a person and society thousands of years removed from it is clearly a good idea, sure. Of course.

@dlinkwit27: Oh my god, master, teach me! I have so much to learn!

@Delano_J: At the time of publishing (or near enough to not matter), Russia WAS "silencing dissent with Microsoft's cooperation". This isn't hard to figure out here, surprisingly even Gizmodo editors don't know the future.

@My Little Metroid: No, I definitely understand - it's just that there's so many AAA top-level titles that Apple should've approached about adding support early (like Angry Birds, Tilt to Live, etc.). Instead, we get Touchgrind and....well, Graal. And if you've been paying attention to my little diatribe here,

@Delano_J: If you actually bothered to read the linked article, you'd see that Microsoft was cooperating in some ways. In fact, the group that was "silenced" knew about the possibility of a raid and asked for help (or some kind of a solution) from Microsoft, who told them to go fuck themselves. Or how about this

@Jypsy: Okay, there's 53 games with GC support, and that's only if you're counting Lite versions and demos in with the full games. That's still not a lot, and almost none of them have spent time on the Top 10 list at any point.

This would be much cooler if it had more than 0.0001% of the games available supported. Seriously, 20 games, and one is Farmville?
