@hvuong42: That's not the same at all, as StarCraft II isn't a trilogy. Mass Effect 2 is, well, Mass Effect 2 - that's what that little squiggly thing after "Mass Effect" means, that it's a sequel. Heart of the Swarm is still StarCraft II, it's just a different campaign packaged for more money, probably with some

@slotter: Uh, okay, a few things here:

@Greo: What? No, StarCraft wasn't incomplete before Brood War, because StarCraft had the three campaigns for the three factions built in. Did you miss that part of my post? Don't hit 'reply' without reading what you're actually responding to.

@slotter: Uh, no, we wouldn't think that we had a complete game, because there's two campaigns missing. Come on now, don't be fucking dense here. There's three factions and the original had three campaigns to go with it, and obviously they're going to do something similar.

Separate ladders across all three installments? A fucking two year wait for the rest of the game that we've already waited 12 years for? Really now?

@Benjamin Patron: You too - I'm at work and Steam is blocked here, but send me a friend request. My Steam ID is in my profile.

@chefgon: Right now, I'm making do with my iPhone 4 - I have a decent enough Coolpix PnS camera with either an 8 or 10 megapixel sensor, but the flash on that thing is so harsh that even with a piece of masking tape over it like a makeshift diffuser I still can't take any pics indoors without everything being washed

What? The Worms franchise is still around, and Team17 is making a 2D game?!

@swx2: This was my first thought as well - they copy the hologram tech, then get rid of the 'screen' projector altogether.

Huh, I don't think I've ever seen a photograph that I'd describe as "exhilarating" before, but that's pretty much what I feel when I look at that shot. So much motion and life is captured that it's almost impossible to look at without getting almost sucked in.

@Why So Many Shooters: I guess, if you want to train against the same 8 people over and over again. I mean, you have to remember: the fact that the highest level wild Pokemon are like 20 or 30 means you need to train them up from that point. Gym rematches or not, that's a pain in the ass. Emerald had it right, with

@cjoricj: Don't forget - because they love their customers so much, anyone can apply for a free Apple oven mitt.

@OmegaSpartan08: My younger brother (yes, brother) was really into boy bands when he was around late-elementary school and middle school. This was coincidentally around the same time I was playing Mega Man Legends all weekend, every weekend.

@Alex McMillan: You're not going to have a chance to survive the multiplayer, at least not right away - StarCraft II is a close enough extension of the original that the people who have played that for a decade (and been playing the beta for months) will mop the floor with you.

@madcatz: HeartGold's balance is just as fucked up as it was in 1999 - once you beat the Johto Elite 4, you'll have no place to level your Pokemon without hours and hours of grinding, because the highest level wild Pokemon in Kanto are like level 20 or 30. Platinum has a worse interface but is way more balanced.

@TheFlyingFish: It's a cool idea, but like they mention in the video not all phones have backings that are conducive to induction charging.

@pkoutoul: No kidding. The inductive charging stations AND cases are expensive, and then you're stuck with a big fat extra case on the back end of your device. Come on, that's just ridiculous now.
