I really can't wait to hear more about Mega Man Universe - from the trailer I'm assuming it's just some sort of general Capcom crossover game starring the blue bomber, but there was a disturbing lack of screenshots, videos, hell - even character sprites. I loved the self-referential joke about Box Art Mega Man at the

@EmeraldStorm: Having this conversation with friends sucks, because 4th ed is really awesome but so different from 3.5 that a lot of people don't even want to give it a try. They hear that fighters can do more than just full attack every round and that a single mid-level wizard can no longer outperform the entire

@SCN55: Did you not read my actual comment? They have nothing to do with religion at all, they just like pissing people off (like you) so you make threats against them or attempt violence against them (like you) so they can sue your ass for all its worth. They are a family of lawyers that exists solely to upset

@Dereck Goolsby-Bearsong: No, like seriously, they are lawyers that make money from people beating on them. You're buying into it by getting so upset, chill the hell out. Do you honestly think that there are people that listen to these assholes? I came from a hugely fundamentalist, evangelical baptist Christian

@GohanEgret: See, that's really the hard question here. The last couple of years have really pushed consumers towards a lot of new tech - we've got motion controls, multi-touch displays, and now 3D At this point, it's almost like "what else can you add to the experience?" I mean, I don't know about you, but I'd

@Torgen got 99 problems but the PAXFlu ain't one: True, but more powerful GPUs are more expensive to make, and Nintendo likes to try and make a profit on each console sold. The "catching up" bit is going to involve them trying to shove as many features into the next console as they can without increasing the price

@TheKennedy: F-Zero GX is awesome, I should dig that out and give it a spin on my Wii. And take this with a grain of salt if you will, but I've spent probably two grand on consumer electronics in the past year, and I spend the vast majority of my time on the PS3 Slim. It's got some fantastic games, but when you

I'm gonna be playing some DDO on Ghall-whatever or Thelania. Comment on this post and let's party together, DDO-people!

@j14: That's....actually really cool for some reason. Never seen one of those around here in Chicago, but then I guess I haven't been looking.

That packaging is pretty clever, I like it. Disgusting looking snack, though I guess that's the point.

@NewSpecies: You know what though? It's still better than Goldeneye: Rogue Agent for the DS, which had even less to do with the original 64 game. Honestly, that thing's only redeeming factor was a pretty decent single-card 4-player thing, and even that only had one map.

@GohanEgret: But the momentum is already slowing down (which is acceptable, I mean it is a four-year-old device at this point). Do you see the Big N retaining that momentum into another console generation? I know we're straying further and further from the topic of the original article, but you seem pretty

So is there like a party happening at Gizmodo Towers right now? You guys got namedropped AND they're giving away free bumpers as per your petition.

@GohanEgret: They had a fantastic start, but their sales are slowing in a very real way now. Nintendo thought that hardly any consumers had an HDTV (which was true at the time) but the conversion to digital television in America pushed HDTV sales up way further than I think they expected. It was a smart move and it

@NewSpecies: That's fine, I've played Goldeneye before. I don't NEED to play it again.

@Lockgar: What he is doing is actually a textbook case of "trolling". "Flaming" is calling out and insulting another user.

@TheRevanchist2: Well, to be fair - the original Goldeneye 64 is a pretty bad game on an objective level. It was major for being one of the only real multiplayer FPS options on consoles, but it wasn't a great game by any stretch.

@juxtaposed11: I think Nintendo really, really underestimated the demand for HD among consumers. It's really almost funny how poorly the Wii has aged compared to the competition - if it didn't have so many cool exclusive games, I'd probably ditch mine.

I always love scene-by-scene remakes of older stuff, particularly if the game consists of MORE than just those remakes. Nice homage levels are awesome and I love seeing stuff from my childhood recreated with more graphical "oomph", but I'm really glad this isn't a flat-out remake of the original.
