@oddfish: Dude, his ocarina is BROKEN.

@sgtzim: Followed, that was beautiful and evil all at once.

@Mayor McRib: Bah. The Goonies 2 has been out for decades, though I could never manage to rescue the damn mermaid at the end. KNOCK on the back wall with the hammer!!

@MAConcep00: Have you read the last book? It's pretty dark and violent. I mean by the end even Hogwarts is basically a giant battleground.

@RockyRan: Ah, this made me think of another good one for TF2. If someone on your own team is taking the game too seriously, name yourself the same thing as them with an extra space or two at the end, then respawn as their class. Instant-spy-paranoia, it's great.

@Tiller: What? How could you "change" the Sonic franchise any more than the last decade has? We've had him making out with princesses, had a game about his evil twin, and turned him into a blue werewolf-yeti thing. There's not enough coherency left in the franchise to change it!

@kevldulf: I haven't played it myself but the hearsay is mostly bad, unfortunately. The character creator is supposed to be really fantastic, though.

Does anyone here have any good griefing stories? It seems as MMOs (and games in general) cater more and more towards the 'carebear' style of play, there are less opportunities to flat-out grief someone than ever before. Normally, this is a good thing, but sometimes you need to face it: there are people out there

@chrispr0: Well if you would have read both my comment and the article that it was on, you would have known the answer to your insipid questions, that's all I'm saying. Reading comprehension, dude.

@chrispr0: Oh, I dunno, maybe those that returned their phones and no longer have problems got a phone with the problems quietly fixed. You know, like the article you are commenting on is about.

@Crow801: "Euphoria" doesn't necessarily mean "speeding up" though. It definitely could be - I make it a point in my life to avoid heroin, so I don't have much experience here, but I'm not sure.

This was way more fascinating than I expected it to be. Some of the things I guess I expected, but some of the things you guys extrapolated from that data (like taller women being more likely to hook up with someone who messages them) are really cool. I'm awaiting the next article with bated breath.

@Crow801: Heroin doesn't make you speed up, though....does it? It's an opiate, a downer.

@Ossidiana: Oh, Internet. Why must you ruin all good things for us?

@chrispr0: "and those that haven't been able to reproduce the issue have simply just not noticed it due to high service levels in their area."

@j14: It's all good - the article is kinda hard to parse, with the anecdotes spread out like that.

@coalheartly: Really? Is the "hit-notes-in-time" battle mechanic usable on the phone? I tried it on a friend's SLOT-2 DS flash cart once but the timings were a little off (and the game completely froze if you took exactly 17 damage, for god-knows-what-reason).

@jizMondo: You'd still be conducting through it and thus attenuating the UMTS/WCDMA antenna, so no dice.

@Dax68: Yeah, it's some issue with the proximity sensor. There's supposedly a settings fix for it if you Google around, though I've only had it happen once (when I was really drunk, I can't entirely blame the phone) so I don't care enough to mess with it yet.

@coalheartly: Gah! This is the first comment that has ever made me seriously consider getting a Droid.
