Another factor is that most non-tesla dealers don’t want them as trade ins. They’re harder to demo because the salespeople don’t know about them, can’t demo FSD and they need a compatible charger on site. That drives down the book values, which surely is a part of Tesla’s calculation for trade in value.

Because motorcycles are a big business and as such they have lobbyists and trade groups to make sure they stay legal.

Plain clear film itself is fairly expensive. I’d bet the stainless film they used here is even more expensive, and cybertrucks aren’t exactly small.

I looked at a buyback car and the warranty deal was you get the remainder of the mileage warranty, but the full amount of years starting from the day you buy. They can sell you an extended warranty, but it's at the same price anyone could get at the same mileage.  The title is branded forever.

USPS does last mile delivery for Amazon in rural areas.

I watched a video where someone talked about their experience owning a lemon law buyback. They got the factory warranty, with the years starting from when he bought it.

Isn’t that the case with most of the parts on lower volume vehicles?

Oh I’m so sorry you had to read about the ongoing genocide when you didn’t want to. That must be so terrible for you

That’s only true if you ignore driving characteristics, height, weight and fuel economy

How else will they reaffirm their gender to the world?

I don’t know about the legalities, but morally this is on the dealer.

Polaris has plenty of people willing to pay $30k+ for horribly built side by sides. They know their market: Dudes who drive lifted pickups, wear wraparound shades and have no financial sense.

If you steal from a business, the police arrest you for theft. If a business steals from you, the police say their magic words, “It’s a civil matter”.

In my area, the age of the car matters a lot because rust kills a lot of cars. For cheaper cars, I think it matters more than the miles because parts are cheap, but rust repair is basically not possible. A Range Rover is likely to survive until the repairs outweigh the value, but a Corolla is likely to rust

Garaging helps keep the rubber, leather and plastic parts nice, but it doesn’t help with corrosion. It actually makes it worse in some cases because cold slows the rusting process in the winter.

Nobody deserves to be taken advantage of, PERIOD. Your attitude is what scammers use to justify their shitty amoral practices.

This has similar issues that communism does. Sounds great in theory but humans are always going to fuck that up

This is 100% accurate. My buddy works at a place that rents Polaris side-by-sides, and they break down constantly. They get replaced with brand new units every other year, and they have governors and gps monitoring, yet the shop is busy all summer trying to keep them running.

I had a 93 Acura Integra that I bought for $500. It came with a five speed, a bunch of dumb kid mods and a terrible backyard paint job with silver flames, but I miss that car.

One of the car YouTubers could buy it make videos about how bad it sucks.
