I don't normally limit my comments so, but alls I can say about this one is...

Because the NYT offers original content written by the best talent, not just regurgitated news wire drivel like many other news services.

Hm. I've always thought that the Bandit's screaming chicken used the 455SD (still a dog), but with nitrous for when it needed to perform a gross display of horsepower.

It has been. Multiple times.

I'll chime in with the others who beg to differ with regards to the 4.6L mod motor. Yeah, the first one was a bit of a turd, but further developments really woke it up, and with a really strong bottom end, they can have a lot of power added, either FI or just opening up the breathing, without stripping it down to the

In college, I autocrossed a few times at Middle Georgia SCCA Solo II events. There was an XR4Ti there that was painted in that very 80's burgundy color that fomoco was using at the time. It was lowered similarly to this, but less of a sleeper, as it had a not-so-subtle 5.4 badge on its front fenders in the same font

Watch again. He was about to roll at one point there, but either hit a patch of luck or gave it the right steering/right foot inputs at just the right moment to avert rolling.

Still saving my pennies for it, but it will be a fifth or sixth generation (67-79) Ford pickup.

C'mon, man! Don't be a photog snob. There is no "proper" use, only what looks good to you.

It's true, seeing as how the best Accord generations (1990-1993 and 1994-1997) are getting up there in years, and a good runner can be bought for $1500 and subsequently ruined. Such is life.

I think making it a race would sort of ruin the spirit. You'd have to start concerning yourself with safety gear, regulations, and whatnot.

Not new, just talking about a different car. Civic /= Accord.

Aaaand that fleece looks like it's hiding some huge... tracts of land.

It's not what you drive, it's how :)

What the hell? That must be a local stereotype. Where I'm from, 90s Hondas were owned by college professors who were too bland to own a W123 Diesel and teenagers whose parents bought them because they were relatively safe and reliable, but cheapcheap.

Native of Columbus, GA. You might know us as the nicer half of Phoenix City, AL.

Brilliant. Driver distraction is the main reason I hate commuting. Hate. Hate. Hate.

Saw that car run in the $2006 or $2007 (don't remember which year) GRM challenge in Gainesville, FL. It was insane how well it stuck in the AutoX. Reflexes seemed sharper than an Olds Quad4-swapped CRX.

I hear in certain European countries with displacement-based tax, it will be fitted with a turbo'd 1.4L Multiair engine. Might be a bit slower than usual, but at least the tax will be reasonable.

Jumping in on the Will.I.Am hate. What a boring human being.
