Generally speaking, I’m good with games moving to a 3-4 year dev cycle instead of the typical two year push between sequels. This would reduce crunch, force the industry to create more original series instead of content pushing sequels to death and generally improve polish all around.
After all, if you go through the trouble to unlock a new outfit in a game, it can be annoying to not be allowed to wear it, even in a game that stresses realism and cultural immersion as much as possible. Fans have repeatedly asked for this to be patched out.
