That first shot of the Brachiosaurus gets me...every...damn...time.

First time they introduced Jansen I was like, ‘Oh, god. Here we go.’ But then he wound up being amazing. And that whole unlikely romance thing with Ming, complete with a Sheena “For Your Eyes Only” Easton song. So bizarre, so good.
No Metroid 4 or Bayonetta 3 has me sad-face. Was kind of hoping for announcements of certain WiiU ports, too (Windwaker HD and Super Mario Maker and/or New Super Mario Bros., specifically). Fire Emblem is cool, though. Can’t say I’m too excited for Smash, as I’m bad at fighting games, but fans seem to be excited for…
I know, right? As much as I loved Rage, Prey, Dishonored 2 and Wolfenstein 2, they didn’t exactly set the industry on fire sales wise. Prey and Dishonored 2 were both marked down to 20 dollars within a couple months of release. But here we are, getting spin offs and sequels and year-on DLC instead of ‘oh, well. We’re…
-Find the Spider shield (Depths) and Rusty Iron Ring (Return to Asylum) before going into Blighttown. Also, buy some purple moss and blooming purple moss. Also a purging stone or two.
Picked my copy up this morning. I’m torn, though, between ripping this sucker open right now, or waiting for Kiwami 2 in August and playing through the rest of the series first (Finished 0, about 2/3 through Kiwami, and I have Yakuza 4 from when it was free on PS+ way back when, so I just need 2,3, and 5).
This boss fight was what sold me on this game. The original Nier was something that people spoke highly of, but me being the idiot that I am, I wrote off at the time because the screenshots looked awful and the story sounded like nonsense. So when people started talking about a sequel to it, and all that stuff about…
I’ve found it unusually difficult to take a stealth approach with Far Cry 5 as it is
Dude. I would totally play Kanga-Ruin. (Kanga-rooin? -rooen? Whatever. It sounds badass and you should make it in RPG maker or Mario Maker or something...Maker).
the story is so sweet it borders on saccharine.
So, taking away characters from mythology/religion...probably Dracula (1897) and Sherlock Holmes (1887), in terms of popping up regularly in new or original material.
You joke, but I think an early idea for the reboot actually toyed around with the idea of Lara having to climb and take down massive enemies.
Now they need an Artorias amiibo that turns Sif into Wolf Link.
It seems to me that the servers are already a bit busier than normal. I started a new character a couple of nights ago in anticipation of the game going free (also, I’m fiending for the Souls experience in anticipation of DS 1 Remastered and I’ve never finished Bloodborne), and I saw lots of ghosts running around and…
In the movie, Tuco (Eli Wallach) and Blondie (Clint Eastwood) have a scam that they pull where Blondie turns Tuco in for a bounty, then shoots him down as he’s about to be hanged before moving on to the next town to do it over again. I’m guessing it’s meant to be an homage to that.
I don’t think it’s any worse than my knowing a lot of classical music thanks to Looney Tunes. And if I’m being entirely honest, my first introduction to Ecstasy of Gold came from a Metallica live album.
Wait just a damn minute...the ‘Wah wah wah’ part was actually someone singing ‘wah wah wah’? I always just thought it was some instrument I couldn’t identify.
All hail Weiner-less Steve.
At the very least you should consider Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2 and Citadel for ME3. Keep an eye out for a sale or something. Just don’t, for the love of god, ‘watch them on YouTube’. They really need to be played with your own Shepard to get the most out of them.
Not sure, but its a good question. How does Zelda know about both the Hero of Twilight and the Hero of the Winds when both belong on separate timelines? Why is Ganon just Ganon and not Ganondorf (a trait that recurs in the so called ‘Downfall’ timeline)? And just north of Mabe Village and Mabe prairie, you have the…
