Agreed. No sequel means that Elika is still pissed at us. FOREVER. But I suppose that fact could mean that 2008 PoP is one of the darker games of the last gen, despite its bright colors and Nathan Drake-as-a-Persian-Prince protagonist.

I remember when achievements were new and thinking I'd never get to 100% on anything. Then Mass Effect came out and I felt compelled to, even with the lame "complete most of the game with x squadmate" achievements that require you to beat the game at least three times while hobbled with squaddies you may not like. I

The Tell Tale game, "Tales from the Borderlands" is a separate project, and it's still coming. I'm looking forward to both!

Well, a quick search reveals that the model playing Lara Croft at the time was Nell McAndrew. I'm not sure if that's who went on this gig or not. Still, the idea of Julia Louis-Dreyfus playing Lara Croft is pretty funny.

I kind of see where you're coming from, but most of the games they mention in the video (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.) have been readily available in some form or another since their release, and continue to find a new audience thanks to things like the Virtual Console. I don't find it difficult to believe that some of

Hell yeah, she would!

In terms of unnecessary sequels to well regarded, low budget creature features, it doesn't look that bad. At the very least, it can't be any worse than "The Descent, Part 2", am I right?

I'm right there with you. The games that come out on PS+ are typically game that in the past I would have waited to get used, and in two years I've amassed quite a huge collection (Sleeping Dogs, Remember Me, Dragon's Dogma, Kingdoms of Amalur, Saint's Row 2 and 3, and a whole bunch more). That, and the lack of

"Corporate Warfare" wasn't much better. I only spent two dollars on it, and still wanted my money back afterwards.

Even worse are people who apparently add the black bars after the fact (although, I'm willing to consider the idea that some probably do that on purpose, to make a point).

Severine is correct, you're thinking of Rita Hayworth.

Is it wrong that I've always enjoyed this movie more than "Casablanca"? Bogart and Bacall are pretty much the reason I love old movies like this.

I enjoyed it. The setting was cool, the soundtrack was good, Nilin turned out more interesting than I expected, and the story was decent. It was like a French flavored "Ghost in the Shell".

I haven't actually read this, because part of the fun of this and Shadow of the Colossus is the complete lack of info and letting your imagination go wild while playing the game, but I've heard that it's a decent interpretation of events.

Ha! Just finished reading The Last Wish today. Good to finally get some insight into who the hell Yennefer is before the third game comes out. The local bookstore also has Blood of Elves and Time of Contempt, so I'll probably pick them up soon.

Let's see...shipwrecked, knocked out, kidnapped, strung up (twice), chased through a cave, captured, forced to kill, shot at, hunted by wolves, hunted by people, forced to crawl through a pool of human blood with who knows how many open wounds, faced with the reality of mythic forces preventing her escape, etc.

Hmm, I don't know about Death. Delirium, on the other hand, I think she'd knock out of the park.

I actually like the Yvonne Strahovski idea. It took them awhile, but season 4 and 5 of Chuck let her branch out a bit and do some comedy stuff, and I think she did really well, like that scene where she tries to bond with Morgan by picking up a couple of Star Wars figures and having Chewie attack Han.

Ah, yes, the backtracking. That's one of the things they actually address in the commentary (specifically the bit where you go back for the eye). Basically, they felt they needed Jensen to wait before following the scientists and Burke into the elevator, because they needed to account for why Kavanagh is alone when

I recently finished playing the Director's Cut, as well. The revised boss fights are a nice touch, and I played with the commentary on, which was very informative and interesting (it's insane how much content they had planned but never finished, considering the game is already pretty lengthy). I have to say, though,
