Lower premiums are not going to happen. When these cars do crash, the repair costs are astronomical. My wife was in a minor fender bender in a 19 Q7, damaging the front bumper cover. Should have been $1,800 at the most. Because of all the sensors, which were still well intact, the repair was $11,000.

This is one of the reasons I no longer buy GM garbage.  Poor engineering, cheap parts that break, and a bailout that gave the union 40% ownership and screwed the bond and stock holders.  Now have a Land Cruiser with a switch that disables side airbags.
