The thing about Clinton is that he speaks to the audience at a level he knows they’ll understand. He can speak to a room of professors and engage on their level as well as he can relate to a bunch of union factory workers. That’s Clinton’s genius.
Just because “everyone” goes through loss and emotional trauma doesn’t mean that this child knows how to handle it. Having been involved in the Foster Care system (as a placement home), I can testify as to just how emotionally damaged these children are. They are without an anchor and don’t trust anyone.
