Honestly, I’m kind of done with this cast. I enjoyed the series, but I also feel ready to move on from their stories. I still feel like Archive 81 was unintentionally a spin off of Stranger Things. It had the vibes. Jumping between present day and the 90's. A cooky cult, a spaghetti monster, and a story that fits in

I have no idea why Professor Xavier doesn’t just walk out of the interrogation

This article is too positive.  Don’t you have someone on staff who can snarkily bag on it instead?

maybe i’m just old and standards have changed but i think this looks...almost exactly correct? it’s not a 1:1, but for an action figure it looks more like tom holland than it doesn’t.

I think it’s a good likeness for the scale of the figure. It’s even got the eyebrow.

Netfllix: “We already have all the customers”

You’re defining the market wrong. The market is not Disney content. The market is programming to watch in your home. Disney, Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Peacock, etc., etc. are all in competition with each other (and cable providers) selling you content to watch at home. See all the comments above about how Netflix’s

I don’t know, looks like Holland. A little more emotive, but Holland.

Probably a bad move. Here’s the thing: I share an account with my parents, though we live at different addresses. If the service becomes effectively twice the price (eg if we both have to pay), they lose us entirely: it’s not worth the money per month unless it’s shared between us.

When you subscribe to Netflix, you explicitly choose and pay for how many screens you want to have simultaneous streaming access. As long as you’re within your screen limitations, Netflix should have no authority over who is using the account.

This story is all you need to prove that investors are idiots and stocks are little better than blackjack.

Cracking down on password sharing will reduce the value of a Netflix account to customers.. I predict this will not be the revenue generator they are hoping for.

oh it is ten kinds of messed up, man.

Our judicial system is fucked. Yes, of course its stacked with shit Trump judges. But the actual architecture of it, where a random judge can strike down an administrative rule instantly for the entire country is not how a 21st century administrative state should run. People being told they can take their masks off in

And it’s going to further fuck up our already fucked up air travel industry. The European airlines that lifted their mask mandates at the end of March found (surprise surprise!) that by mid-April they were cancelling a shit ton of flights because of staff shortages due to covid. Who could have foreseen this?! Only

For months, the entire public world has gone maskless.

Please qualify how she is unqualified.

What’s really interesting about this ruling is the judge said she tried to think of ways to “limit” the ruling (aka to the plaintiffs), but since she couldn’t (because who could know who the plaintiffs are and who aren’t), she just said fuck it and threw out ALL mask requirements.

But businesses also get to decide whether or not they can require them for patrons and employees, right? Because corporations are people and individual liberties... right? If you don’t want to wear a mask, fine, go shop somewhere else. If you don’t want the vaccine, fine, go work somewhere else. If you don’t want an

How is it possible that, when faced with any kind of choice, the United States managed to ALWAYS PICK THE SHITTIEST, MOST FUCKED-UP, KILLING ALL HUMANS choice? Like, really?
