My wife saw something similar a few years ago. Really close tailgater in traffic tried to do an aggressive pass just as the guy was getting out of the passing lane and spun themselves out on the highway and took out a post on the shoulder.
Really amazed at the “both-sides-ism” here.
Why the fuck would I even own a car if it isn’t for gladiatorial combat?
Definitely wondering what precipitated the Raptor deciding to hold up the Accord, but they’re both in the wrong.
She is a model, from Canada.
It’s not from his either of his preferred continents, but he should at least consider a Stinger.
Frankly I’d just get a new Civic manual hatchback and put the other 20-25k in the kids college savings fund or pay down the mortgage.
The shots are coming from inside the car!
While not any sort of annoyance really, it’s a nice to have so many safety improvements in vehicles. Contrary to popular belief, old cars are extremely poor to be in when you get in an accident. I am glad for all of the safety upgrades in vehicles. The below video shows the improvements and it’s about 13 years old now.
having to replace a timing belt at 60k thankfully almost everyone has moved to timing chains now that last much longer
Touchscreens. Thankfully, touchscreens died out in 2023 after covid caused so many shipping delays that manufacturers went back to physical knobs and buttons.
Filling the battery with distilled water.
Drum brakes. Hate them and when located up front are essentially no better than a prayer when compared to today’s stoppers.
Don’t forget when some brands issued separate door and ignition keys! I don’t miss that!
Putting a key in the door to unlock it then putting the key into the ignition to start it. The car I drove 14 out of the last 15 years at least had keyless entry but now that I’ve experienced the life of just walking up to the car door, having the doors automatically unlock when I put my hand in the handle, then…
Let freedom (and tinnitus) ring.
firing a gun in a car has to be painfully loud
He looked like a total badass. The control of his weapon points to adequate training. Glad he’s armed and spraying our highways for justice.
The auto-dimming high-beams on my wife’s Lexus ES300h sound like a neat idea, but in practice they are completely useless, brightening and dimming at completely random times... and mostly staying dim when you’re on an empty, winding, rural back-road.
