That’s how it would look if you were viewing it while riding in a G.

It’s all about getting you to buy more shit. Instead of going after the people, companies, and organizations polluting air and water left and right on huge industrial scales, we’re turned against each other as if normal car-driving civilians are to blame.
I give Hyundai tons of props for their interiors looking, feeling, and operating more lux than their MSRP would suggest. Does this hold up at the top of the pack, or did Hyundai’s polish peak somewhere around the Sonata?
Did anyone else get the feeling that Jesse Eisenberg was trolling the producers? He seemed to have plenty of subtly disguised attitude, which I found hilarious.
Makes me feel less bad for not watching at all. Who’s got the results?
Just like every other manufacturer, Mazda is going to focus on SUV/CUV production because it’s a cash cow. Their success in that segment will assuredly inform any uprated Speed versions.
It truly is that easy, but for obvious reasons the financing companies don’t make that very obvious. I had to sell my Miata, which I hadn’t even owned a year (and still owed most of the loan), due to relocation. Had the buyer meet me at my credit union, and handed him the title within 5 minutes of him handing me cash.
My favorite thing about cars is the shit they go through, the stories they rack up. Every dent should have a story. I’d rather spend my weekends driving far away rather than polishing the paint!
I’d love to hear what the hardest part of the build was. It seems like these types of projects always have one or two tasks deemed “not fuckin’ easy” that you plan for, and a couple more than should have been 5 minute jobs turned into 5 days. That’s a struggle I can relate to.
Can they please put a 7-speed manny in the Wrangler? Almost everyone who owns one has to drive it on a highway once in awhile, and 5th gear is a joke.
It sounds like you’ve got some spare change- why not go for a cheap fun car to fulfill your petrolhead needs while keeping the reliable Acura on hand for commuting, etc? If you end up loving the cheap car, then you know it’s time to upgrade the Acura. It’s a good way to dip your toe into the possible unreliability of…
I wonder if his defense will claim this. I would. Though that could cause some problems for Uber...
I bet that stow and go was a big factor in this not being hybrid only. I get the feeling that Chrysler should have gone all in Prius style to make this a big success and really spearhead a game changer.
Buying my wife a Prius allowed us to save enough on fuel and maintenance to afford my Miata. Now, we only have the Prius, and it delivered us safe and sound without a problem after a 3,000+ mile journey on the Alcan. Cars are, most importantly, a vessel for a journey and boring, reliable Toyotas tend to have the best…
If this guy can comfortably afford to own both cars, and wants a long-term investment, then drive the hell out of the old one and just keep the juices flowing in the new one. Unmolested STIs are going to be worth something in a decade or two, and if you’re starting at 149 miles you’ll probably be well below any other…
Does it still have those squared off gauge pods? I liked those. That whole Art Deco aesthetic fit really well on that boxy beast.
I swallowed my pride when I bought a Prius, but the distances it allows us to travel (for fun or relocation) on so few dollars is pretty rewarding.
Intending no disrespect, I think this iteration of your “get this not that” actually makes the most sense. Unless you need two extra seats or a warranty, this could be a whole lot more appealing than a Hellcat.
Just getting into the first episodes, totally into it. My only negative feedback so far is some of the music... Low rent a bit?
I second this; and have put my money where my mouth is, twice. Went from a beige Buick Century to a beige Prius. My only chance to brag is when it comes to being invisible to the popo.
