Why there isn’t a regulation for this, is beyond me.

This is a good video, I watched it the other day. We need some automaker to stop making rolling compensators and be brave enough to make lower hoods on a pick up truck.

I don’t want to talk to my car. I want to DRIVE my car.

Because police can just as easily “chase” you with radios, surveillance and detective work that doesn’t endanger the general public.

Anyone else have the strong impression that this was only “necessary” in that somebody wanted to play with their military-esque toys? This driver wasn’t going anywhere, and the truck was surrounded by SWAT, presumably armed to the teeth. They seriously couldn’t come up with a better idea to get the driver out of the

Right-on-red was introduced in the 1970s as a fuel saving measure. That time has long since passed, with hybrid powertrains and stop-start systems doing more to reduce idling, emissions, and fuel consumption.

I love cars, just as I’m sure other readers here do, so I gave all the Top Gear iterations a watch. And...they were just always so meh compared to the Top Gear—the one starring Clarkson, Hammond, and May. And let’s face facts: it wasn’t the car reviews and stunts that truly made the show—it was the hosts’ constant

Every race track I have ever been to has blocked visual access from the bridges - they don’t want people hanging out on there and overloading the bridge.  This is just a story about people in LV who have never been to a race track and don’t understand why this is done.

It was deciding...

Next up: Jaywalkers learn that autonomous vehicles stop immediately because of human screams, start screaming whenever they want to cross the road in front of one.

“Hey guys we need some more clicks let’s see if we can get people to fight and make generalizations about entire demographics in the comments with nothing more than anecdotes to back it up”

When I think “yellow car” this is the one most suited to bear that phrase as a title rather than simply a description:

It should say “is in good health for a French Bulldog” since no french bulldogs are really in good health because the breed is incapable of breathing properly.

I wouldn’t say 80-90 is absurdly fast - unless you’re plowing into other stopped cars.  Also, speeding 10 over the speed limit doesn’t save 3-4 minutes in Texas, given the size of the state, crossing the state on I-40 it could save nearly 1.5 hours.

How about putting one two way bike lane on the far side of the parked cars and let the cars fight it out like gladiators?

You’re forgetting that modifications to the track that we know today largely came AFTER the “mechanical grip era. Changes to Tabac, the Piscine complex, Novelle Chicane, La Rascasse all came after 1973 or so. Therefore, there is an excellent chance that smaller, less aero-sensistive cars would in fact result in

My vote is to have the drivers race vintage F1 cars at Monaco. They are smaller and make the good noise. There are a myriad of reasons this will never happen but a guy can dream.

we should make the cars longer but they should articulate in the middle

How to fix Monaco (and F1 racing in general) :
