Why there isn’t a regulation for this, is beyond me.

This is a good video, I watched it the other day. We need some automaker to stop making rolling compensators and be brave enough to make lower hoods on a pick up truck.

When I think “yellow car” this is the one most suited to bear that phrase as a title rather than simply a description:

It should say “is in good health for a French Bulldog” since no french bulldogs are really in good health because the breed is incapable of breathing properly.

I wouldn’t say 80-90 is absurdly fast - unless you’re plowing into other stopped cars.  Also, speeding 10 over the speed limit doesn’t save 3-4 minutes in Texas, given the size of the state, crossing the state on I-40 it could save nearly 1.5 hours.

How about putting one two way bike lane on the far side of the parked cars and let the cars fight it out like gladiators?

You’re forgetting that modifications to the track that we know today largely came AFTER the “mechanical grip era. ” Changes to Tabac, the Piscine complex, Novelle Chicane, La Rascasse all came after 1973 or so. My vote is to have the drivers race vintage F1 cars at Monaco. They are smaller and make the good noise. There are a myriad of reasons this will never happen but a guy can dream.
