This is so geeky, I love it.

Actually I’m pretty sure it’s pronounced [Vay-pour].
Apple have always had the same ethos, “We drive the narrative”.
I work as a volunteer for State Emergency Service and have been involved in searches for people lost bushwalking or similar. When it goes well we’re all heros, when it goes bad, questions are asked, people want to know why more wasn’t done and so on.
I don’t disagree with your argument, in fact I think you’re spot on. However this is why we are failing and will continue to fail, the battle has already been lost in fact. People are not willing to sacrifice anything but sacrifice IS (or was) needed if we ever had any chance of stopping the worst effects.
That is kind of the plan.
Ok, I’m not across the specifics of this but I do have some experience with radio spectrum licensing and this seems totally whack.
No.
I think there’s a good deal of the old cat killing curiosity involved, it’s a bit like the venerable;
I know the usual image of scientists is all kind of stiff and so on but I have to believe they were running bets on when it would blow.
So you got your medical degree where?
Once upon a time this kind of stuff was the work of fiction.
Well c’mon, I mean who can afford the “outrageous” penalty rates and overtime during the holiday break to fix this? It’ll be fine, I’m sure the crims need a Christmas break too...
Surely it’s time for him to trot out some “thoughts and prayers”? Always seems like a good, practical way to help.
This!!!
A much bigger gap would have been filled with a dedicated porn “explorer”.
“Social media platforms can’t stop the truth from being spread far and wide. Big Tech can’t stop the truth,” Greene said. “Communist Democrats can’t stop the truth. I stand with the truth and the people. We will overcome!”
It’s not hard to see how something this apocalyptic happening at that time could have lead to the proliferation of vengeful god/gods type mythology. Entire island blasted into the “heavens”, tsunami’s washing away coastal towns, boats ending up miles inland. You could write a book about it.
I think most of us gave up talking about climate stuff years ago, at least in open social situations. The trouble is you’d always have at least one, usually more who’d immediately start trotting out all the tired old denier arguments. Whether this was just baiting shit stirrers or actual cave fish with no fucking clue…
