As somebody who has always hated shooting controls on consoles because of stick aiming, gyroscope aiming has been a godsend. The first time I realized how powerful they were was when I aced the Gerudo Training Grounds bow and arrow minigame in Ocarina of Time 3D on my first time which took me absolutely forever to do

You realize that with the map functionality, they basically HAD to get sneaky, otherwise there would be literally no challenge?

I have been calling Best Buy every week since launch. They finally got 10 in two weeks ago. I waited in line when they street released them a week ago. Zelda is stealing my soul.

Breath of the Wild’s main story is definitely bare bones, but the exploration is really where the game shines. For example, have you seen any of the three dragons yet? The first time I saw Farosh, I was on top of a mountain in a completely different area, and all I saw was a thin, twisting white line winding its way

There’s been at least 1 really good indie game every week since the system has come out, not to mention lots of Neo Geo ports that many people like myself have never played. It’s easily the best first 2 months of a console I’ve ever seen.

This.

I equate playing Breath of the Wild with playing Mario 64 for the first time. Where the sheet act of just traversing the world without any kind of goal or objective is immensely entertaining in and of itself.

The pro controller is totally worth it.

Yeah, I have a MAJOR issue. Zelda is consuming my entire life, and I’m at risk of losing a grip to anything else I lived for before this game. So...can I, like, sue Nintendo for that?

This teeny-tiny handed female is very very happy about teeny-tiny little control sticks. :3

Thank you for posting this. I thought I was the only one that listened to death metal while working on cars...

Now playing

The correct answer is insane technical death metal.
