The Germans’ complaint about American cars used to be that they were only designed to drive in straight lines because all of the American roads were straight. The latter certainly hasn’t changed much...

Regrettably, the wings had a tendency to come off when they did that.

I don’t know, I see Sabine as perfect cousin material or sister material.

You’ve gotta help me here. Is the waifu realtionship a “pure” one? You are expressing love for a cartoon character, basically, right? So it’s not someone you want get naked with, maybe something more like a sister, or a close gay friend of the opposite sex? Someone who would not be a threat to your true significant

Gets fine? Did they hire a pretty driver?

I am anticipating the new TG very highly. I very much dislike Amazon as a streaming source and that hinderance will probably cancel out any likelihood that I’d have ever looked at whatever the other boys come up with.

And not afraid to be just plain silly. Very endearing.

You and I are on the exact same page. More civility, less juvenile potty humor.

My mom had a 1973 Mercury Marquis Braugham that was purchased for her by her then-husband. I went along to the dealership when he ordered it. Had a 429, if I remember correctly.

I read your column with interest, but given @Biebster’s comment and your reply, you do strike me as taxi-sympathetic. I am able to avoid using cabs, and I’ve never used Uber or Lyft, but the entire traditional taxicab industry seems to me dinosaurian and in desperate need of disruption.

I had a Cimarron offered to me a few years back and I was genuinely interested in it, but it was V6-powered, so I declined. If it had an Iron Duke, I’d have been all over it.

As teens in the 70s, my brother and I thought the Trans Am was the coolest thing on the road. I saw one once that had a four-speed! We geeked on The Cannonball Run. (That movie makes me want to barf, now.)
