After seeing the list including The Equalizer, Magnum P.I., One Day at a Time and MacGyver, it took me a second for my brain to realize that #23 was not Manimal.

Or, someone comes up with a plan to securitize those stockpiles, offsetting the drain on liquidity.  Think derivatives futures.

I’m sure the strategic salsa stockpile is overflowing.

Fine. But how is Toyota’s salsa supply?

If you really want to make Ryan Adams mad, ask him to play Summer of '69.

Its number 2 on my list.

Now playing

My vote for Eddie Murphy’s finest moment

Spies Like Us taught teenage RustyB an important lesson: sometimes they put all of the best jokes in the trailer just to tempt you into going and seeing the movie.

Every movie Landis ever directed, even his masterworks, tend to be uneven.

Sarah Vowell is so good as Violet, especially in Incredibles 2. They give her (and the animators in charge of her facial expressions) so much to work with and she becomes the best character in it by a mile.

Disney seems to have moved midway in this respect... they still want to cast actors with some name recognition, but at least make sure they have the right vocal qualities for the role.

I think it’s that whole “Aryan men can do anything” spiel.

Interesting observation. As the father of a teenage daughter now, maybe it would be worth revisiting that film. Except that would require me watching it again, and fuck that noise.

Another 1999 movie that hits differently twenty years later when you’re the father of a teenage girl is American Beauty.

Tweet is gone, cant see the video anymore.

The disgusting details of this story aside, is it normal for teams to sign or not sign drivers solely because of the whims of a single sponsor? It seems weird to me that they would have that much power over the team that they could demand something that personal and specific.

“I don’t give a fuck about anyone but me.”

No, but F1 constructors are going into their last year of unlimited budgets.

When you get right down to it the Prequels are a good story told terribly and the Sequels (As a whole, I quite like TLJ.) are a terrible story told really well.
