Oh shit yeah that’s a good one. Robin Wright sells the hell out of Jenny’s despair in that scene. It’s really effective. 

You know, it’s a great soundtrack, but I never got around to buying it. I had already listened to Freebird way too many times in my life (studio or live — “play it pretty for ATLANTA”).

Despite its flaws, I honestly love this movie. It’s an absolute blast and a joy to watch. Hanks’ performance is incredible.

I’m excited. Birds of Prey: etc was the last film I saw in theaters so it would be a weirdly fitting bookend of pandemic for the next one to be this.  My fingers are crossed.

I hate to say it but the era of big conventions are over. The Pandemic has meant that nobody is going to pack into a huge convention hall with thousands of other people. Even after we get a vaccine I don’t think there’ll be much of a demand for it.

In the minority in hoping/wishing we’d get another Solo entry, I quite liked it. Really the only thing that dragged it down for me was all the references and wink-wink-nudge-nudges. Just make it *not* Han and a new character it probably would’ve been the best of the Disney releases.
