Fair point, I heard the lead-up to the interview (and the first few minutes of it) live the other day and while I truly appreciate LeBatard speaking truth to power, it does come across that he’s almost shocked! shocked! that this is happening in baseball in 2017.

Well, while there is a subset of the public out there turned off by “all that kneelin’ and disrecpectin’” and “wussification” etc., I don’t think it’s anywhere near enough to fill stadiums and / or get TV ratings.

Counterpoint: Papa John’s wasn’t always bad — for a while they were a viable alternative to Pizza Hut (grease - soaked boxes, two-hour delivery) and Domino’s (really were cardboard). And their thin crust was really good.

I’m a guy, and sometimes even I just don’t understand all this. I enjoyed all three of the Soderbergh Oceans films (heck, get me in the right frame of mind and I’ll argue that Ocean’s 12 is a cinematic masterpiece), and this trailer looks entertaining, so why would I not see it?
