I think you might be on to something good here...
“Words are containers for power; you choose what kind of power they carry.”
Never assume, it’s completely different here, it seems. Your descriptions of what comp doesn’t cover in the UK is precisely what it covers here (wind, hail, flood, even hitting deer or other animals that have jumped into the roadway).
Um, that’s kind of what comprehensive is, the “act of god” coverage (hail, wind, flood).
Fuck it, I can. That bitch is racist.
Hand of frog.
Nope, which is why the techs would prefer to be paid by time invested into the repair as opposed to book times.
If anyone is tasting shoe right now, it’s not me.
Star for A Clockwork Orange reference.
Most of these technicians are getting raked over the coals by SnapOn/Mac/Matco truck finance, but they can’t work without the tools, so it’s a catch 22. Does your employer provide you with the equipment necessary to do your job, or do you have to buy your own PC/Desk/Chair/etc for whatever you do? New software comes…
Christ, you got out at the right time, 2000 was kind of the swansong for the collision repair industry.
No worries :)

20 years in body shops, can confirm.
Huh?
Hell, he’ll take credit for creating two jobs: the one dipshit here was fired from, and the new job he supposedly already has! MAGA! /wrists
They can, however, feel free to stop reproducing and breathing.
Provided they never come back, I couldn’t care less.
To be fair, I wouldn’t want to wake up with FCA any more than I’d want to team up with them.
