It’ll also dissuade other shops from going through the expensive process of achieving Tesla approval. Who wants to train/equip a shop for one low volume manufacturer, when that manufacturer is going to throw you under the bus to save face?

A repair (typically) doesn’t modify the vehicle from manufacturer design. Aftermarket installs do.

How hard can it be? Impossible, if you can’t get the parts.
