First they came for the airplanes, and I didn’t speak out - because I didn’t have an airplane.

This shirt got me a talking to by the principal. My protests of “well, there’s plenty of other confederate flags around the school” weren’t well received. I didn’t do well in the south.

Clinton won VA.

Was unfortunately unaware, thanks for the heads up.

Tim’s live shows are great. PA system died at one small show, so Tim marches out into the middle of the crowd, plops down in the middle of the floor with his guitar, and gets everyone to sit around him like an elementary school class. One of the most intimate shows I’ve ever been to.

You’re 100% correct on both the KKK and street gangs placing higher value on themselves than others.

I don’t know that one “officially” leaves a gang, nor do I know that one “officially” joins. Applications and membership cards weren’t parts of gang life that I’ve ever known about.

When Goodlatte first ran, he campaigned on serving no more than six terms, a sort of self-imposed term limit. That was in 1992. I’ve been voting against him for the last 20 years, he’s now on his 12th term (in an arguably gerrymandered state, so it’s his for life).

You’re correct, SCOTUS nominee requires Judiciary approval before moving to a full Senate vote.

Given the events of the past week and a half Sean, I’m not quite sure you understand anything that’s happening around you, so your comment isn’t exactly reassuring.

In South Carolina, you’re probably more likely to find someone saying “whoa shit, let me go get a hammer and some nails for you” upon seeing that sign. It’s barely been a year and a half since they yanked the Confederate Flag from the statehouse grounds.

Hopefully, he’s taking the “fuck ‘em if they can’t find a shred of empathy in their bodies” viewpoint. I sure as hell would be.
