1. I just kinda assumed she was fueled by rage and he was just distracting her. If she had beaten him to submission then I'd have more of an issue with it.

I assumed her storyline would result in her losing commitment to the cause and being killed by Non, which doesn't add anything to the story.

I actually really liked this episode. I've never read the comic this particular episode was inspired by, but that doesn't really seem to work as much when placed in the Supergirl story, since she actually did grow up on Krypton. Superman probably has more to play with because his entire life is a what if, whereas Kara

I've only seen him in Nurse Jackie.

I find Peter Facinelli pretty insufferable, so Maxwell Lord is pretty hard to watch on this show, especially since he just feels like a Lex Luther stand in.

I really love Calista Flockhart on this show. I recently started watching Younger (I really don't understand the love for it) and it's become really obvious how easy it is for the type of "Powerful Female Executive" character to become a Miranda Priestley knock off.

I'm not sure how the show can last.

The show is handling the emotional fallout from the last episode pretty well. Winn needing space allows him to be put on the back burner without the show feeling like it's dropping the storyline.

Yeah, that first episode gave me all kinds of butterflies because it's hard not to identify with Danny or Alex. It was just so sweet.

I read that too, something about Danny going back to that teacher who told him that she would be waiting for him and working on school or something.

But at the same time it could be entirely the healthiest choice for him to end the friendship because he's unable to get over those feelings and resume having a platonic friendship. It could be the best for both characters, should Winn be unable to distance himself from those feelings.

Something about the show really hit me hard and I have no idea why. I can look at it as a very flawed series that raises more questions than it answers, but Wishaw is so great and so adorable that I found myself watching for him.

I don't think anyone is in the wrong here, both people were being open and honest.

I thought everyone was pretty weak.

I didn't find him that bad, really.

I think she was pretty underrated on unREAL.

Exactly. When there are no stakes or solid characterization, these big twists come off as hollow.

Jeffrey Dahmer wasn't supposed to be a terrifying drug dealer.

The problem with the show is that there are no stakes to it, which makes it very hard to care about what's going on.

That look on her face when she supercharged her heat vision was fucking terrifying.
