My dad had a second gen (I think it was a 2008?) Avalanche, not even the top of the line, and it was more luxurious than any other American car I’d ever been in, much less a truck. Smooth ride, tons of leather and wood and chrome, good sound system, etc.

I’d go for the Phase 1 and keep the drivetrain warranty. You know something is going to break. I assume they are the same price, and you either choose the warranty or the extra 50hp, basically.

Tough choice. I love the M2, but the RS has more practicality in a cheaper package. Money aside, I’d go M2. Also, I hate all the offered colors for the RS. Give me a metallic gray or the launch blue, not this pastel crap. Long Beach Blue on the other hand is beautiful, as is the Metallic Gray the M2 comes in.

Two rivals. One historically/geographically, one strategically (conference/division team that you typically have to beat to win it all). Example: University of Florida has FSU and Georgia. FSU doesn’t mean much objectively because they’re different conferences.
