I can't be too hard on apple here. Like Roku, the box works. It is fast, easy to use and does what it says. My first gen Roku box just died so I bought one of these instead, since it plugs into my Mac eco-system easier.

@Standish: LTE is technically an evolution of GSM however all major carriers have announced support for LTE. New radios and transmitting gear are needed for the higher bandwidth and throughput. Interestingly enough, the new LTE gear is much smaller and more power efficient.
