@Monty: perhaps ... i bet it would be over $100 though. It's probably a big old thing.

It's a shame that being a dipshit isn't against the law.

Used DOS, Win 3.1 and Win95 at work. Explains why I always had Macs at home. No nostalgia here. Our IT department still has us on XP using IE 6 and I'm at a Fortune 10 company. I assume I'll be celebrating XP's 15th birthday and still be using it.

@pjcard: Yup, if I am going to wish for something, might as well wish for something better then a non-existant tablet ... "Would you rather have an iPad or a wild orgy with cheerleaders?"

Brian, instead of asking for a raise from Giz, just ask that they dump a bucket of gatorade over your head once a week.

What's funny is this sort of low-brow attempt at humor is what one would expect from the Android market. Imagine if Justin Long would have been peeing on PC guy in those Apple ads - not sure that would have moved too many people to the mac. Which, by the way, is happening at twice the growth rate of the market.

Cool. With this slick advertising, I'm sure they sell least .0000001 droid for every iPhone.

@quitcherbichinn: well said, and thanks for saying it so I didn't have to.

don't upgrade that smartphone just yet!

@D.LYTE: you need a new phone since LTE needs a new radio and, alas, new antenna design - new frequencies and new modulation techniques make a new phone a requirement.

I think it's way more classy to just put the bottle in a paper bag. I think it goes better with the shopping cart you are probably pushing.

How about some more stories about bacteria grown as clothes?

Have you ever opened up a bag of frozen fruit? I believe the same happens to your brain and other organs no matter how careful they are in this process. I can't believe you're coming back after being thawed into a mushy mass of fleshy goo.

@o0RaidR0o: I played out the same story on my dinner plate with my string beans as the blue aliens and the meatloaf as the aggressive military people. The onions came out of the meatloaf and inserted themselves in the string beans to join their cause. It was invigorating drama right on my own kitchen table.

I finally caught this flick on blu-ray, amazing bad plot. Didn't I see this theme in at least 12 Disney movies? Didn't Hercules become human?

It's very interesting to watch the tide turn on Apple. I have a new BB curve, which replaced my 8830 which replaced my 7130 - 5 years of BB and they are all crap. I have an HP3170 laptop that replaced a dell 630 that replaced a compaq something that replaced a thinkpad 450 - 13 years of PC's and they all sucked. Of

@m57: duh

"There was some lag, voice quality wasn't perfect, and video was sometimes jittery. But I loved every minute of it."

whoa - bad

@CaptainJack: I'm just glad it is not a flip phone, THAT might hurt
